Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all a little something special.

Let’s get into it.

Fight your emotions

So what happens is that I used to listen to the T.V. And to be honest with you, the T.V. Would always say to follow your heart. 

And at the time, it seemed like something good. 

And so everywhere I went, I would try and follow my heart and if I’m honest with you, it lead me into a path that was not really good. 

The reason why I say that it lead me to a path that was not really good was because it actually lead me to make decisions that were really naive and poorly made. 

And the reason why I went with those decisions was because my heart told me to do so. 

And to be honest with you, I could’ve done some bigger things in my life, but because I was listening to my heart, I would fail at the moment that it came down to it. 

And it wasn’t until later that I read in the Bible that you are actually not supposed to listen to your heart because your heart is sick and gravely ill. 

And so, from then on, I would not listen to my heart because I started to become wiser and to listen to God. 

And so, I have a bit of advice to you, and that is to fight your emotions. 

In this world, we could have trouble, we could have tribulations, but the word of God remains faithful to us no matter what. 

And what happens is that our emotions can often times lead us to do some things that are not good. 

And if we believe in God through our decisions, instead of listening to our emotions, then we can rest assured that the good in our lives are going to happen. 

Right now, I had a pretty rough day, but I’m out here writing away on this blog because I know better than to give in to my emotions. 

Story time

My friend

I had a friend one time, and this guy was amazing, he was a salesman. 

And what happened was that he just took some PTO because of an emergency that he was having. 

And so what happened is that he came back but was doing bad at the job. 

However, this is unusual for him because he was the star player of the COMPANY. 

He is the star player of the company.

And what happened is that I was doing pretty good at the job for a little bit and the boss says to him, “Go with German for a little bit because maybe he can help you out.”

And so we went working together for a day and my friend said, “German what are some things that you think that I can improve upon.”

And I said, “Man you know the job better than me, there is something else that’s bothering you, is it your girl?”

and he was like, “no.”

and I was like, “okay”

and he was like, “How did you know it was about my girl?”

And I looked at him and said, “What vexes all men?”

and he said, “That’s from a movie.” For those words are from Pirates of the Caribbean.

and I said to him, “But it’s also true.” And I said to him, “The only thing that gets guys more than anything else is a woman.”

and he said, “My girl has cancer and I’m worried about her.”

This guy was 10 years older than me, remember that, and he was asking this kid of 19 years old as to what to do with his girlfriend having cancer. 

and I couldn’t say anything to him but say, “Man, I’m sorry but worrying about her right now is not going to help.”

and I said, “Imagine if your girl has cancer, you could pay for some of the treatments with your income that you make from this job and if you get your commission, then you can help your girl.”

and I said, “man, you took your time off, but right now, it’s time to work. If you work really hard, it will help to have that fat stack of cash in your bank account.”

On that day, we went out and made 4 sales from a single neighborhood.

which is really good. 

He got two sales and I got two sales. 

And Everyone was like, “He’s back.” 

so focus on your work and worry about what you need to worry about when it’s time to look at those things.
