Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all how to make great Christian lyrics.

Let’s get into it.

Christianity 101

So let’s fall back on some of the training that we’ve always had.

So first off, our source of strength, our source of hope, our source of inspiration comes from the Lord Jesus.

Therefore, we need to be well grounded in the Lord in order for us to make great lyrics.

There is a bible verse that talks about this and actually it was Jesus who spoke these words.

He states, “I am the vine and ye are the branches: He that abide to in me, and I in him, the same bringer forth much fruit: For without me ye can do nothing.”

that was John 15:5

This is implying that the Lord is the source of our life.

And it’s true, it’s not just poetry that Jesus was speaking, it was the truth spelled out for us.

we cannot do anything without the Lord for without him we can do nothing.

This means that we should be in prayer and churches and bible readings because the Lord is there and his voice should be clear to us when we are writing lyrics.

It is his word not ours after all.

Lyric writing 101

Now writing lyrics that sound good takes some time to develop.

But it’s not impossible.

When you first start writing lyrics, you’ll find that they sound too cliche or too bad and they just don’t sound like a professionals.

Well that might be but just remember that when you first start writing lyrics, you’re not a professional.

So it’s important that you keep writing lyrics and don’t stop.

Maybe pick up a book about writing lyrics, and that could take you a long way.

Personally me, I use common words to explain the situation that’s going on.

Sometimes I use imagery, but big artists just use plain explanation words to explain the situation.
