Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all some new things that facebook is doing and I think it will help the musician.

Let’s get into it.

Facebook groups

So facebook groups aren’t new to Facebook.

However, the limit as to how many Facebook groups you could join has changed.

What happens is that before you could only join around 150 groups to Facebook at a time.

But now, you can join up to 6,000 Facebook groups!

Which is something really good because now we have a really good way to get our message to a whole new group of people on the internet.

And actually I have seen some success with posting on Facebook groups. What I did was that I took my Spotify links and put them in these Facebook groups.

And I’m not going to lie it’s not a lot, but I think it’s more than what I was getting before.

I mean my first single I think I only got around 190 listens across all streaming platforms.

But 6,000 Facebook groups is enough to make a big impact in the way that people listen to your music.

Because imagine if you post up to 6,000 different Facebook groups and each one of those Facebook groups gives you one listen to your song, That’s 6,000 Listens that you would’ve gotten.

And I’m not saying that, that’s going to happen but even if you cut it close, that’s still a significant portion of people listening to your music.

And who knows with that amount of people listening to your music, you could possibly go viral.

Anyways, just food for thought.

I sure hope that I have been an inspiration and a hope to you all. Please remember to pray, read your bible, go to church, and love God above all else. Like, comment, share, subscribe, and I will see you all next time.

If you want to go to heaven, then believe in Jesus and you will go to heaven. (John 3:16)

Thank you all for listening in on this blog post.

German Gonzalez, signing out!

P.S. I know that I am a person that heavily advocates a blog, but Facebook groups is another good way to extend your reach out into the Christian music community. I actually say that I would prefer to build an audience first on a blog and then build on different social medias later on, and right now, we’re in the later on.

So yeah build up your platform on a blog first and then try and experiment with other platforms later on.

The point is to keep hustling.
