Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all the best nicknames for a Christian.

Sunshine

I was actually nicknamed this by a few of my friends. 

The name itself is actually a really good nickname.

It means that you smile.

The name sunshine means that your smile is as bright as the sun.

And I’ll be honest with you, I loved that nickname after I found out what it meant. 

And people were calling me that for a little bit and I didn’t like it because I thought it meant something else. 

But no, it means that you smile. 

I’m telling you if people see that Jesus is in you and you smile because of Jesus, it will make a difference in the way that people interact with you. 

A nickname related to what you do

So what happens is that you should learn this, but depending on where you go and what you do, people are going to nickname you different things. 

And depending on what you’ve done in the work that you do, they are going to name you something else. 

And people can give you extraordinary nicknames.

They can give you extraordinary nicknames because if you are an extraordinary person, they will nickname you that. 

So personally me, I am a musician and I have done amazing musical feats. 

So people have actually nicknamed me after famous guitarists and rappers. 

They nicknamed me Eminem and Busta Rhymes. They also nicknamed me Slash, Jimmy Page, and Jimi Hendrix for my guitar abilities. 

However, on the soccer field, they nicknamed me Lenyero. Which means lumberjack. 

It means that I was an aggressive soccer player. 

And they nicknamed me those things because I was excellent at the things that I was doing.

and if people understand that I was excellent only because the Lord Jesus was excellent, then that is a testimony unto the Lord for the things that he does and not mine own. 

Sergeant 

Again this is another nickname that I was given by one of my friends. 

He nicknamed me sergeant because I was in security at the time and I guess my boss told him that I was very strict with the job. 

But being called sergeant is a position of authority. 

And that’s the nickname that we strive to reach.

We strive to reach authority even though we might not be authority because our word should be what we are. 

If you’re ever called sergeant, just know that you’re on the right path. 

Any nickname that glorifies God

So if you are a Christian, people will nickname you good nicknames. 

Trust me they will. 

Because living the Christian life, you develop a persona that is just a blessed persona. 

And you will be someone amazing in whatever you do.
