Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all the essentials that we as Christians need in order to write in a blog effectively.
Let’s get into it.
Physically speaking 1 a computer:
So it’s no wonder that as a blogger you really need a computer to get your work done.
If not a computer at least some sort of computing device that lets you connect to the internet.
It could be a smartphone or a tablet.
But get something that let’s you connect to the internet and write documents.
That’s literally all you need that’s immediate, everything else that I’m going to mention on the physical list is second place to this.
If you don’t have access to a computer in your household, don’t make it an excuse to not blog. Go to your local library and blog there.
Believe it or not, I used to not drive.
And I was an adult when this was going on.
But in the early stages of my blogging days, I would get up from my house and I would walk to the closest library.
Which was 1 and a half miles away.
And then I would walk back.
but that was on my days off. When I had work, I would walk to work, which was in the same general direction as the library and then I would walk to the library afterwards and then I would workout or work at the library on my blog and then I would walk back home.
Sometimes I would take the bus, but yeah that was a big part of my early days of blogging.
I remember those days so clearly, and yes they were a struggle, but I would not let anything stop me from completing my blogging dreams. From my music dreams in all reality.
Let me tell you another story.
I wanted to join the Navy SEALS at one point in my life.
I was 21 years old and I remember that my car broke down.
And I needed to go to work which was 12 miles away.
Now I could’ve taken the bus, but in all reality, I had read in some Navy Seals training manuals that you need to be comfortable on your feet, so whatever you need to do in order to get out of the house and get to work, get on your feet and just start moving.
So what I would do is I would walk to the gym in the early mornings, and the gym was in the same general direction as my Job.
And what I would do is I would walk to the gym which was 4 miles away. And then I would workout for 2 hours and then run on the treadmill for 30 minutes and then walk to work and then after work, I would walk back home.
And all of that equated to around 30 miles in a day that I would travel.
Maybe a little more some days.
And I never became a Navy SEAL, but what I’m trying to say is that I was physically exhausted and I did that for like 5 months.
And what I’m trying to say is that if you want something bad enough, you will go out there and make it happen.
So whatever it is that you want to do go chase after it and don’t let anything come in your way.
Spiritually

I would lie if I were to tell you that you only need physical things in order to make it as a Christian musician or content creator.
You need to be spiritually strong as well.
Spiritually, your walk with God should be at it’s peak.
And if not, then make it that way while you blog.
Let your blog help you to grow closer to God.
Let your blog help you to become the Christian that you need to become.
Spiritually you should commit to God.
I remember in that same story where I was trying to become a Navy Seal that I was committing my work to the Lord. And I was doing my best to make the Lord proud of me.
I wanted the Lord to love me and i wanted to please him.
So I took working hard very seriously.
Take the things that the Lord has for you and take it seriously.
It takes more of God than you to succeed at the things that you want to succeed in.
