Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all how to grow your Christian blog immensely in today’s day and age.
Let’s get into it.
Content is still king
I’m not going to lie, I will say that I notice a big jump in my traffic whenever I post up a blog post.
I notice that I do get more traffic to my blog whenever I post up.
So like, it’s important to note that content, just coming out with unique and helpful content is still a very important factor in determining the visibility of your blog.
Like just yesterday, I posted up late at night.
And I only did two blog posts yesterday.
And why is it that I noticed a spike in my traffic when I posted up both of these pieces of content?
I mean for the rest of the day, my traffic looked pretty dull and boring, but when I posted up my two articles, my traffic increased.
And might I add that the traffic did not go to the two blog posts that I put up.
But rather,
It went to some blog posts that were already ranking in Google.
That means that by simply updating your blog with fresh content, Google will take that into account and even if it’s just by a little bit, will show your blog to more people.
I know that I’ve been kind of slacking lately with my 10 blog posts per day.
Because I said that I wanted to put up 10 blog posts per day for a few months.
But I’m still releasing new content regularly and at a bigger pace.
So it’s still a struggle and I’m still going to try and release more blog posts.
that’s not going to stop.
Updating your old blog posts

So what happened is that I just saw recently that when I update my old blog posts with pictures and new links and more words and update the entirety of the content itself, then I do notice an increase in traffic.
So far, I’ve been updating my blog and I do see big spikes in my traffic whenever I update.
So I know that this adds on to a long list of things that you should be doing as a blogger, but hey no one ever said that blogging was easy.
Update your old blog posts in one shape or another.
What I find is that some of my posts I don’t really want to update it because it looks and sounds good to me.
However, I also find that there are a lot of posts that I really want to add more to it or add pictures or do something with it, and whatever way you can update it, update it.
I see a big spike in my traffic when I update my headlines to make it sound more enticing. So just look out for creative ways to update your old blog posts.
I read on Google, this is just a quick Google search that I did so I don’t know how accurate this is.
But I read on Google that if you were to update around 300 blog posts, then you would see an increase of about 100 percent more traffic.
So for me that means that I would see 1,000 views per month which is a big jump from my 500 to 600 views that I’m getting right now.
Don’t be scared to treat it like a job
So everything is a risk. You can’t be playing it safe every single day for the rest of your life because or else you will never get anywhere.
You have to work hard in your blog day in and out so that way you can grow as a blogger and grow your blog.
As always pray for your blog
As with everything you do in life, you should always pray to God about the projects that you are doing.
Don’t be scared to be humble and pray to God to help you with your projects because God can and God will bless your life with the projects that you do.
