Christian Diary Entry: the Lord answers prayers

Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all a little something about how the Lord answers prayers. 

Let’s get into it.

How the Lord has answered my prayers

You know guys, it wasn’t too long ago that I was in a bad place. It wasn’t too long ago that I was jobless with no prospect and with nothing going for me.

I remember I had sat down in a hot summer day and I was just relaxing because i said to myself that there had to be something that needed to change. 

And it’s not like I was getting drunk or getting high or anything like that, It’s not like I was going out with a different girl every single night, none of that was going on but I was in a situation where I just didn’t want to be at where I just didn’t need to be at. 

And what happened is that I was just going through the motions and I knelt down one day and I started to pray to God. 

I literally just started praying to God to change my whole circumstances.

And slowly, the Lord started to respond. 

He responded to all of my problems in the time that it took for him to respond. 

And I will say that if you need any problems solved, you go to the Lord first. 

You consult with the Lord Jesus for all of your problems. 

And I remember that every time that I’m going through a bad day. 

Always be reading your bible

You need to always read your bible. 

I will be honest with you, there was a reason for a time why I didn’t read my bible. 

I didn’t really believe that the direct answers that I needed were actually found in the bible. 

I didn’t know that the bible has actual practical knowledge and wisdom that can be applied to today’s world and today’s day and age. 

And what happened is that when I was in the bad place that I was at, I started to read the bible and I found out so much wisdom that I actually needed. 

Like say for example all my life, I was taught to listen to my heart and do what I want. 

However the bible expressly states to do the exact opposite. 

It says that the heart is gravely ill and sick.

Therefore it means that we can’t do what we want but rather what we need. 

And I took that many years ago and I started to apply that to the things that I do every day. 

Which in part is some of the strength that I have in order to do this blog. 

Which I will say is a big factor that lead to the success of the blog that I have right now. 

But there are other practical applications in the bible that really are needed all the time. 

It states that we are to chase after a Godly woman. 

That’s something more for the older guys, you have to be looking after a woman that looks for God and all of his ways. 

Which is something that I need to do.
