Christian music inspiration

Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to talk about whether or not Christian music will make a ton of money.

Let’s get into it.

So what have I seen?

I have actually been in some Christian concerts where the stadiums get filled.

And I must say that I can see some serious dough being run through the hands of the Christian artists. 

However, that’s not to say that it’s easy. 

With all that being said, I still look at other artists in the world who are secular and not Christian and I see how much success they have and I say to myself sometimes, “Is it really possible to make money with Christian music?”

I mean afterall, even the biggest named artists that are out there are getting ripped off by the music industry. 

So I mean like what’s a Christian musician?

Well, I’ll put it like this, the world may be saying one thing and doing one thing. 

However, my promise is in the Lord. 

And the Lord is clear that no matter the work that you do, you can make profit out of it. 

It states in proverbs and I’ve mentioned it here many times but yeah. 

I have even heard that the big time musicians that tour, that they don’t get paid as much money as they deserve. 

Like I have even heard that those big time musicians usually get between 400 and 1,000 dollars per show that they do.

I mean if we really put it in perspective that’s barely enough to get one of their tickets. 

Granted, they do perform every night or every other night. I have seen some tours where the artist performs only on the weekend. But if I’m quite honest with you, I have seen more shows where the artist performs every night instead of only on the weekends. 

So I mean like every other night for about 9 months out of the year, that’s actually not that bad money. In a week that would be around 3 to 4 shows per week so that would be around 1,200 to 1,600 per week on the low end and 3,000 to 4,000 per week on the high end. 

On top of that, Music Streaming royalties are going up. They are starting to pay the artist what they deserve. 

I mean apple has started paying more to their artists and to be honest with you Apple is a big player that heavily influences other platforms. 

So I think we should be expecting Spotify and other platforms to follow pursuit. 

So I mean there are other ways that you receive money as well, it’s not just shows. 

But what do I think about the Christian musicians of the world?

Well the first thing that you should know is that if it was the will of God, then the Christian musicians would earn the most amount of money. 

However, the Lord has set it so that we might not earn that much money and it’s perfectly fine. 

I think I know why to be honest with you. 

So what happens is that you might know this already that God will often use the weakest people for his plans. 

He chose David which was a small shepherd boy to go fight Goliath. He chose the nation of Israel which was the smallest group out of everyone to put his promises on. He chose many people who were small and they succeeded not because they were great, but rather, it was to show that God was the one behind the victory. 

So when you say that Christian musicians don’t make that much money, it only adds glory to God because we do this music and make it sound good not with our money but with the power of God. 

In our weakness, he is made strong. 

I believe that’s a bible verse as well. 

So we are weak in that sense, but let the Lord be strong. 

Let the Lord take glory in our infirmities and our weaknesses and let it be known that we serve the living God.
