Christian Diary Entry: The beauty of being a Christian

Hey everyone! So today, I’m writing about the beauty of being a Christian.

Let’s get into it.

When you’re a Christian, 

When you’re a Christian, you will face difficulties in life. 

You will face hardships and you will be tested to your limits. 

However, the Lord makes this promise, that he will never leave you alone. 

And right now, I will say that it is true. 

The Lord will never leave you alone. 

I have been alone, I have done things on my own, I have fought over years to do things, and I will say right now that the Lord does not leave us alone, not for one second. 

I remember one time when I went out for a walk in the middle of the night because I was having a rough day. 

I had gone out and I was just walking through the city.

I was being the person that honestly didn’t know what I was doing. And while I was walking, I started praying to God. And I wouldn’t stop praying to God while I walked. 

I would not give up on God and I know that he would not give up on me. 

So I kept on going and eventually I made it back home. 

And I remember all of the things that I had ever prayed to God about. 

And I said, “Where is his promise?” 

And I looked at myself and said, “I haven’t obeyed him enough to the point where he can keep his promises. 

And I remember that the Lord works through our works. 

Anyways, this is all just to say that the Lord did not let me down in those days. 

The Lord was always my shield, my rock, and my strength everywhere I went. 

So what is the beauty?

Imagine this, that you are an expert musician, imagine that you are playing sold out shows every single night and getting standing ovations every night. 

Imagine you have the top of the line clothes and gear and you are well taken care of. 

Imagine that you’re in your prime in age and strength, imagine that everything you do is perfect and even in your bad eras, they always turn good. 

That’s what serving the Lord is like. 

With the Lord, you just can’t seem to go wrong. 

With the Lord, you always have him to rest your head on. 

And the beautiful thing is that he is ready to help you the second you need help.

The Lord is faithful, the Lord is just, the Lord is perfect.

  Don’t forget about the Lord in your time of need. 

Don’t forget about God in your time of need.

Call unto him everywhere you go and his voice will guide you. 

Call unto him no matter what happens. 

In the good or in the bad, call unto him and he will bless you.
