Ahh here we are, Today is august 2nd 2025, and we are here nearly 5 years after the initial start of my blog.
And I must say, has it been a ride.
Let’s talk about some catching up
The never ending story of learning
So over these past few years as a blogger, I have learned so much about blogging and I have learned that there really is no limit to learning in the blogging world.
I mean when I first started, I was seriously thinking to myself that blogging was a faster way to get money.
I honestly had no idea as to all of the work that you need to do in order to actually become successful at blogging.
And what happened is that I was seriously expecting for my blog, this blog, to take off within 3 to 6 months after I had started the blog.
And I never once thought about all of the people who actually blog for a living and I never considered what they do to actually get thousands of views per month. I didn’t want to consider the fact that it could potentially take me longer to learn how to build a successful blog due to the fact that I was brand new to blogging.
And I learned that most of the bloggers that I admire have actually been blogging for years. Therefore, I need to cool it with my expectations on my blog and be realistic with blogging.
I’m not the next Neil Patel. I’m not Gary Vee. I’m German Gonzalez looking to get more streams on my music each month.
Don’t get me wrong, those guys have great advice when it comes to blogging, but in reality, I’m not better than they are.
And it would behoove me to learn from the best and I already know their methods.
But yeah, I digress.
I’m writing more songs and taking things more seriously
I think that when I got my full time job, I started to take the things in my life a little more seriously.
Like I have so many awesome things that are going on in my life but if I were to take them all a little more seriously, then I would be someone really serious in my life.
Like just recently I started to take music a lot more seriously and I think it was because of my job that I started to take it more seriously.
I actually saw the way that I behaved in my job and I was like, “If only I could take my job as seriously as my music.”
And so since then, I just started to take my music a little more seriously and started coming out with more blog posts and writing more songs and producing more.
It’s all a blessing, praise the Lord.
