Something new and exciting

Hey everyone! So today, I got some really cool things that are happening in my life. 

Let’s get into it.

My day job is having me write. 

So what happens is that I have a day job and I have to do quite a bit of writing. 

But it’s different writing than what I’m used to doing. 

It’s formal writing.

Usually on this blog, I write in plain text. I talk to people on my blog as if though I was talking to someone else. 

But now my day job is asking me that I write professional. 

And they literally put it so that I write as if though I am reading a textbook.

They literally say that I need to write as if though I am writing in a textbook. 

It needs to be concise and formal. 

It’s a different style of writing than what I’m used to doing. 

Whenever I’m writing on my blog, I can and am encouraged to write in slang, write in 1337, be informal and be myself, really casual. 

However, in my job, I have to be really formal. 

And actually I see value for myself in actually having this job that I’m working in right now. 

Because the way that the person helping me to write it has put it, it’s a different style of writing. 

And I need to write in that style. 

So I need to write as if though I am writing in a textbook. 

Which is actually beneficial towards this blog because now, I’m going to improve this blog in a way. 

Yes I will still have those informal, personal, and casual blog posts. 

But I will also learn how to write as if though this is a professional newspaper article. 

And I know exactly where to learn it. 

The Purdue OWL has many resources on how to write in all styles. 

And I’m just going to commit to learning about writing in this new style so that I can improve in my job, and Improve in this blog. 

This is literally killing two birds with one stone.

So now what’s going to happen?

Now, I’m going to start researching how to write in this blog according to the manner that my job wants me to write,

Because there are some instances where I do want to sound more professional. 

And i think it’s time that I just start learning how to sound more professional. 

And what this will do, is it will create practice for me so that I can practice writing in this manner and create professional documents at my job. 

It’s literally a win win situation for everyone. 

The Lord literally provided for me.

This is actually very exciting for me.

I’m learning something new that I can carry for the rest of my life. 

How exciting.
