New music promotion techniques

Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all something new that I’m doing to promote my music. 

Let’s get into it.

Business cards

What happens is that there is a demand to play local shows in local places. 

Now, the thing is that for Christians, that means that you need to play in a whole bunch of different churches. 

And I get it, you know churches are where Christians are at and that’s where you’re going to get your most amount of fans. 

However, this has always been a challenge for Christian musicians. 

Because what happens is that there are too few churches that actually line up with your own beliefs. 

And yes though we like to believe that every Christian has the same beliefs, it’s really not. 

We really don’t have the same beliefs. 

A lot of Christians do not believe in the same things that we’re supposed to believe. 

So that means that if you wanted to go out and play a show in front of people who share your same beliefs, then that means that you will need to travel far in order to see churches that believe in the same things that you believe. 

And it’s always been that way. 

And what a lot of Christian record labels have started to do is that they have started to go to different types of churches and share their songs there. 

I have heard of artists go and play at Mormon churches or all sorts of denomination churches and honestly, I just can’t see myself doing that. 

Nothing wrong with Mormonism, but I just don’t believe in what they believe. 

Even the owner of this big Christian label isn’t even Christian, he’s a member of the church of Scientology. 

And that’s not Christian. 

But I digress, I think I’m just rambling at this point. 

But anyways, the reason why I am going to make business cards for my music is because that way, I can gain a following in the local scene and perform shows in the local areas. 

This way, I have something that I can look forward to on the weekends and earn money at the same time. 

I’m going to try and start gigging and we’ll see where it goes. 

Now, with every gigging musician, it always starts with little to no pay. 

And quite frankly that’s exactly what I’m doing. 

But when I build up my fanbase, that’s when I’ll be rocking and rolling. 

This is so exciting. 

I have power on the internet, and now I’m going to build power in my local scene. 

This is really a blessing from God.
