He Remember me, How God has helped me in recent times.

Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to talk a little bit about the ways that God has helped me out financialy. 

Let’s get into it.

The ups and downs of my finances

You know its strange about me, I have really good ups and downs in my finances. 

But I will say that in my downs, The Lord always remembers me. 

I will say that I need to be constantly doing things in regards to kingdom building in order for the Lord to actually help me out when I’m going through financial troubles, but it’s stuff that I should be doing as a Christian anyways. 

So without further ado let’s talk about some of the things most recently that the Lord has done financially for me.

I was short on cash one of these days and I asked God to provide and he responded in the way that I asked for.

So what happened is that I had money one of these days, but I had to spend on some big bills that left me tight with my budget. So I was penny pinching throughout my days. 

However, I always believed in getting the things that I need and letting God take care of the rest. 

So I went to a supermarket one of these days and I was just trying to get a sport drink and a bottle of water. 

And I got the sport drink and the bottle of water and when I went to go and pay for it, it’s like the Lord heard my prayers. 

Because what happened is that both the sport drink and the bottle of water cost me $1.46 after tax. 

And I said to the cashier, “Is this correct? Because the sport drink alone is supposed to cost like 3 dollars.” 

And she said, “It’s okay the sport drink didn’t scan so we’ll just give it to you for free.” 

In all of my life, I have never seen that happen to me at a grocery store. 

As a matter of fact, I have seen on the internet about how cashiers think that it’s absurd of how people would expect something free when it doesn’t scan. 

So I thought that was something that grocery stores just didn’t do and was a joke. 

And never in my life has this ever happened to me. 

When I needed a new computer and also go to the gym

I bought a computer for college a long time ago. 

However, it has been a long time since I bought it so it was really old and the screen was cracked and the computer kept crashing on me a lot. 

I am a musician and also I work in creating videos for people sometimes so I really needed my computer. 

Also, I write these blog posts so I really needed a computer that could take on the tasks that something heavy would throw at it. 

So what happens is that it gets to around Christmas time, two weeks before Christmas time, and I started praying, I was jobless at this time so there was no way that I could afford any of these things. 

But I started praying, and I said, “Lord I ask that you provide for me, help me to get a new computer and also help me to get my gym membership back.”

It was a little more intricate than that, but that’s the essence of the prayer that I did. 

And on that Christmas, my little sister decides to buy me an IPad and my mom’s Christmas present to me was that she was going to pay for my gym membership for a whole year. 

Now for those of you that don’t know about computers, an IPad, though small, has the computing power that’s needed to create videos, blog posts, and music all in one. 

And the great thing about IPad’s is that they have ICloud Memory, so the only thing that you would need is to buy the ICloud Memory which is really cheap. 

However, the Lord was not done that Christmas, because my little sister also bought me a hard drive so that I can store 2 terabytes worth of memory from my IPad. 

And my mom, it astounds me because she chose to give me my gym membership back, I never asked for that. 

I never told her, can you pay for my gym membership?

I never asked her to do anything specifically with that, she just did it by herself. 

This means that the Lord did that. 

Last year, when I was short on cash and I needed to get paid now!

What happens is that last year, I was working at this job, and they paid on Wednesdays. 

However, it got to Monday and I was suffering financially for the money that was due. 

And it’s like God heard me because on that week, my money hit on Monday.

Now there are a few things that say that it was God who did this. 

First, I say that we get paid on Wednesdays, but that’s because my bank deposits early. 

We are actually supposed to get paid on Friday. 

But the money that was due for me hit on Monday. So the money hit 5 days early than what it was supposed to hit.

Now, I have been working at that job for almost 2 years now, and never in the two years that I have been working there, has the bank ever again done a 5 day earl deposit. 

This is God.

There have been countless other times as well 

I will be honest, these are just some of the times that the Lord has helped me financially. 

The Lord has actually helped me so many times it’s hard to count. 

One time, I gave a homeless man a lot of food and then gave him a gift card to a restaurant and I went to go and get something to eat right afterwards. 

Literally, the person in front of me in the line decides to pay for my food. 

And the Bible is clear about these kind of things, it states, “He who lends to the poor, lends to the Lord and he will repay all that he has given.” 

But that’s not all 

One time, I was walking to work because I was trying to lose weight. 

And work was a mile a half away from me. 

So I started walking, and I notice a helicopter flying above my head. 

And I keep walking and I notice that the helicopter was getting closer and closer. 

So i get to work safe and sound. 

And what happens is that as soon as I get to work, a police officer comes into the office and says to everyone, “Stay inside because there is a bear out here.” 

And so I never saw the bear, I never even heard the bear. 

but what happens is that later on that night, I went to see the news about the bear, and I find out that it was close by to me as I was walking to work. 

What happens is this, there were two paths to get to work, one was going to go straight, and the other turned right because it was at a T intersection. 

Both paths got me to work, so all I had to do was choose between the two. 

To either go straight or to turn right. 

And so I turned right.

and I find out later that night, that if I had gone straight, I would’ve been right in front of the bear. 

Now there was a 50/50 shot that I could’ve ended up in front of the bear. 

And if you talk to anyone in statistics, they will tell you that 50/50 chances are never good. 

But why did I go right? Why did I make that right turn? It’s because the Lord guided me that day, the Lord guided me that day to turn right. And I turned right. 

Yes the Lord is strong enough to save my life. 

The Lord is strong enough to save my life. 

In Conclusion

The Lord works hard in our lives. 

Every day he works, and he never gives up on the things that are in our lives. 

The Lord is a working man. 

The Lord is a strong man. 

In him is who I hope for. 

In him is where my riches lie.
