News about record label (Spoiler alert: A record label contacted me back!)

Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all some cool things that are going on with my music. 

Let’s get into it.

A record label contacted me back

So let’s talk about why this alone is something to take note of. 

This is something big because record labels almost never contact you back.

And the reason for that is because they receive such a large amount of demo submissions that they really don’t have time to go through all of it and say which one needs work on or which one needs a whole lot of work done. 

So just the fact that they contacted me is something to take note of. 

And they contacted me back. 

And I’m not going to talk about what they said, but at the end they said, “Don’t hesitate to send us more demos.”

And those are their exact words. 

Now they said a little more if I’m honest with you, they actually pointed me towards a radio station that they want my music to sound like. 

And I get it, they want marketable music that sounds like marketable music. 

They want me to create a sound that sounds happy and uplifting so that it can sell to the masses of Christian musicians and worshippers. 

I will admit, that my music is happy but with dark undertones so I can actually hear what they’re saying. 

I think that, that’s what they’re trying to say that I sound a little too dark for their taste. 

I use the major scale a big majority of the time which is one of the happiest scales you can use, but I think I know how I can make it better. 

If I’m not mistaken, this record label is part of the big 3 which are the 3 biggest record labels in the world. 

So yeah, I’m so excited and it feels so unreal that after all this work, that this is actually happening. 

I know that I have a long journey ahead of me, but the Lord will be there for me and with me every step of the way.
