Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all a music testimony that happened to me.

My guitars and my music

So you guys know that I love music.

And when I say that I love music, I mean I dissect music to learn how to create it again.

I invest money and time into music.

I practice music.

I do a lot with music.

However, back when I was 21 I had realized that music had really separated me from God.

The reason was because all of the songs that I was playing and performing were really all talking about sex, drugs, rock and roll, suicide, and other vices.

And what happened is that I sold my guitars because I wanted to become closer to God.

I said, “Music is nothing compared to God.” I also said, “Music is my everything, my is my life, I love music but I have to serve the Lord for the Lord is better for me. The Lord loves me more than what music could ever love me.”

And so I sold my guitars.

I sold and deleted and got rid of almost everything musical that I had.

And you know what I did?

I said to myself, “I will serve the Lord using my skills in life that he has given me for music has separated me from him and I will serve him somehow, someway.”

Fast forward a few weeks and I had read some bible verses about music and also some things that music needs to be done with the Lord and I realized that music can be an excellent way to worship the Lord and as a matter of fact it’s a musicians mission to actually worship and honor the Lord with music.

And the fact is that I am a musician and the reason why the Lord gave me music was so that I can honor him with it.

So I walked over to a music store and I just started playing a few of the guitars.

And I said, “I have to get another guitar and worship the Lord with that guitar.”

And I was playing the guitars and I didn’t have money at the time and I didn’t have any guitars because I had sold all of my guitars.

But I just kept thinking to myself, “I don’t know how the Lord is going to do it, but he will give me a guitar.”

And right there on the spot a gentleman approached me.

And this gentleman looked at me and he said, “does that guitar sound good?”

And I said yeah it does.

And he said, “I will pay you 500 dollars if you let me have that guitar.”

And I said, “why?”

And he said, “my son wants to play the guitar and I want to get him a really good sounding guitar.”

And I said, “no, I couldn’t. I really want this guitar and he said, “600 dollars than.’

And to be honest with you guys, I can’t really remember the rest of the conversation but I remember that, that day, I walked out with a guitar in my hand because I had enough money.

And I said, “the Lord has provided a way for me to have this guitar. The Lord is unstoppable.”
