How can I add Value to the world as a musician?

Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all how you can make an impact with your music. 

Let’s get into it. 

It’s been said and it’s been done

So there is something that you should know as a musician. 

It’s the same chords that you’re using since the 40s, it’s the same topics that you’re talking about since the 30s, it’s the same instruments, it’s the same passion, it’s the same everything in music. 

There is even a statistic somewhere in the internet that says that about 70% of music uses the same words over and over again. 

So then you might ask yourself, “Why does it sound so good? Why does it sound so unique? Why is it that I feel something different every time I hear another song?” 

It’s really just a matter of shaping the same things you have been using into different things. 

Like MGK is much different than Sum 41 and yet the instruments that they use are almost identical. 

And every genre of music uses the same distorted guitars, every genre of music uses the same grand piano they get from omnisphere. Everyone uses the same mixing techniques and tools. 

It’s literally just the way you shape things that it’s going to come out differently. 

But let me give you a little bit of advice, 

No one is you. You are the only person that can reflect on your experiences and past life to come out with something new. 

That’s the main reason why each song sounds so different and unique. 

Many people in the music world draw on experiences and past life that help them shape the way they sound and the lyrics that they use. 

Repeat until innovate

My sister is a musician as well and I thought what she said one time was absolutely brilliant. 

She said to repeat until you innovate. 

So basically get so good at music first and then try and create songs because that way you will have a foundation to build your songs upon. 

If you’re a beginner musician and you still haven’t gotten the grasp of guitar chords or pianos chords, or you can’t sing and play an instrument at the same time, then it’s not yet time for you to start innovating. 

Start singing and playing songs at the same time this way you can eventually innovate. 

Trust me this is how it is.
