Hey everyone! Today, I’m going to talk a little bit about each song that I released.
Let’s get into it.
Peace in your heart
Peace in your heart was my baby for a while.
I will admit that this was the first song that I had ever produced, mixed, and mastered all on my own.
I had dedicated a lot of hours into this song if I’m honest with you.
I think I have it logged in my DAW that i spent around 48 hours on the song just in the production, mixing and mastering phases. Let alone the actual songwriting phase and rehearsal phase.
I remember this song was the best piece of work that I had released at all at the time.
And I did it, I didn’t let anyone else help me to do it, I didn’t pay someone to produce it, I did it.
It felt so good knowing that I was the one who completed such an awesome song.

The answer
The answer was the song that built upon Peace in your heart.
What happened is that I had been listening to a few music production YouTube videos and I was really trying to figure out how I could compose really great background vocals.
And I found out the trick to do it.
It’s more so of a practice being able to create background vocals.
Because what happens is that you’re supposed to listen to a whole bunch of music and try and imitate those back ground vocals by yourself or even write them down in standard notation.
And what happened is that I started to do these tips and I found out some similarities between all background vocals.
So I applied those techniques to this song and I really liked the way that it sounded.
It was actually an accident how it clicked because what happened is that I had mixdowned my song and I was listening to it on the ride home and I found out how to create the background vocals through this way. It was actually pretty cool because I gave myself goosebumps which is difficult for me to do.

I have faith in him
I have faith in him was a dive into my acoustic workmanship.
I wanted to kind of establish myself as a strong songwriter.
So I created a song that could highlight my songwriting style.
I created an acoustic song so that way you wouldn’t get caught up in the production elements of the song but rather hear the emotion that the song causes with my song I have faith in him.
No drums, no synthesizers, no background vocals, just me and my guitar to create all of the emotions that you want to hear in a song.
That and also I thought the song sounded really cool with just the guitars and the voice.
