Christian musician Diary Entry: Some things I’ve been getting myself into

Hey guys! Today, I’m going to share with you all some cool things that I’ve gotten into lately. 

Let’s get into it.

Music production YouTube Channels

Now I’ve always been into Music anything on YouTube. 

But what happens is that I saw a few years ago that there are a lot of musicians on YouTube that quite don’t frankly know how to do music. 

And a lot of their how to’s and a lot of their tutorials are just a bunch of fluff that’s on the internet. 

Like literally there was this music producer and quite frankly I thought he was talented.

I thought he was the best producer that I could find.

But the problem is that he focused his productions on pop orchestral pieces which I didn’t understand why so niche and why so specific? 

Like who is really going to sit there and listen to a piece that sounds like it was created from the figment of your imagination mixed with Disney? 

Like if I could describe his music, it was literally like a mix between Imagine Dragons and Disney, that’s what I would describe his music as. 

And honestly, I would be so into this dude’s content if he just put up regular pop advice. 

Don’t get me wrong, his songs come out to be this big, giagantic masterpieces. 

Like if I could produce like he could, I would be golden. 

But the thing is that it sounds too Disney Orchestra for me. 

Like the strange thing about this dude is that he is a Christian too, and so he doesn’t curse or hardly curses and his content is very family friendly so I can actually watch it without getting offended, lol. But yeah, this dude is so good at producing, just not great songs coming from him. 

And I see that same pattern from almost all of the musicians on YouTube. 

Like why can’t the musicians on YouTube just make music that sound good? 

I don’t understand. 

Sure it has to do with inspiration, but that’s after you’ve figured out how to create great songs using tools that you already have. 

Anyways, I’ve gotten into music production YouTube channels lately and they are really fun to watch. 

They give advice on how to do a wide variety of things with music. 

From promoting music to creating music to everything in between. 

It’s really quite a fun journey seeing these things happen.
