Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all my scariest musical moment.
Let’s get into it.
My scariest musical moment was when I sold my guitars
I think I’ve told you guys this, but I actually have sold my guitars in the past.
I actually sold all of my guitars and got rid of all of my musical equipment.
And trust me that those things are expensive.
But I think I’m ready to tell the truth about why it happened.
My life was leaving God
What happened is that my life was heading in a direction where God wasn’t there.
I remember so clearly thinking so clearly and strongly at the same time.
I thought to myself, “My guitars separate me from God. And if that’s the case, then I don’t need my guitars.”
Mind you, I had already spent 7 years being a musician and winning awards in music.
And I was ready to leave all of my music experience behind.
I was ready to leave all of music in my past and start a new life with God because I felt that God was more important than music.
God is more important than music.
What happened is that I remember all of the songs that i used to play with the guitar.
They talked about lust, adultery, drugs, alcohol, etc. etc.
they did not glorify God and i was playing them.
And so. I said, “ The Lord is more important than music so I will get rid of music in my life because the Lord is so much more valuable to me than music and he will bless my hands.”
I remember those days, I was really poor so I didn’t have a car, So I took my 50 pound amplifier and I walked with it all the way to the nearest pawnshop which was one mile away.
And I sold it there.
The next day I took my guitars.
The Lord is more important than guitars or music.
I had invested my life into music and I left it all there for God.
I think it was a trial that i went through with God
I think the Lord wanted to see if I cared more about him or music. Because the next week, I wanted to use music, this time for God.
And so I went into a music store and I started playing the guitars.
At this point, I did not have that much money and right there on that same day, some random dude saw me playing the guitars and said, “Do you like that guitar?”
And I said, yes I do.
And he said, “I will give you 500 dollars if you let me buy that guitar.
That covered the other guitar that I wanted.
And that guitar is the guitar that you see in this picture right here.

And I ended up buying that guitar on that day.
And this time, I used it for God.
