John 3:16 states, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, so that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life.” that’s John 3:16 KJV
What this is saying is that God loved the world so much that he wanted to provide a way for humanity to be with him for eternity. God wanted to provide a way so that mankind could live.
God knew that humanity deserved death, but God wanted the whole world to go to heaven.
So, He made it easy and he said, “For God so loved the WORLD, that he gave his ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, so that WHOSOEVER, believes IN HIM SHALL NOT PERISH, but have everlasting life.”
It was actually Jesus, the son of God, who said these words.
Jesus also said Verses 17-19 which states, “For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light because hteir deeds were evil.”
This is saying that we as humans deserved death because we were condemned.
Jesus did not come to condemn the world, but that the world could be saved.
and it also states that, “he who does not believe is condemned already.”
However, Jesus himself said that he is the way to life. By believing in him, you can go to heaven.
Some people might say, “I can’t go to heaven, I’m too sinful.”
Let’s read 1 Corinthians 6:9-11. but before we read this, we need to read the WHOLE THING. It starts out rough, but it gets better at the end.
1 Corinthians 6:9-11 states, “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolators, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you :but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the spirit of our God.”
The preacher who was teaching, was actually teaching to a group of christians.
and he says all the people that were not supposed to enter into the kingdom of God and then he states, “and such were some of you.”
means that some of those people were those unrighteous that the same verse talks about, and then he says, “but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the spirit of our God.”
Don’t get me wrong, a homosexual alone will not enter into the kingdom of God, HOWEVER,
If that homosexual, If that killer, If that drunk, wants to believe in God and submit his life to God, God WILL ACCEPT THAT PERSON.
And not only that, But God can make that person’s life amazing.
Another verse that supports the Gospel is 2 Peter 3:9
it states, “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”
So, It doesn’t matter what you’ve done in life, God wants you in heaven.
The people who were writing these pages in the bible were beaten and martyred for beliving in Jesus.
They had gone to Jails, and were just persecuted.
Some were already old when they were going through those things.
Do you think that they knew what a homosexual was? Do you think that they knew that God knew that there were killers in this world?
above all else, God knew that there were all sorts of evil in this world and yet God decided to say that ANYONE CAN GO TO HEAVEN,
and he said it multiple times.
Even in John 3:16 it states it, “For God so loved THE WORLD, that he gave his ONLY BEGOTTEN SON , so that WHOSOEVER (it doesn’t say whosoever except a homosexual, a thief, a liar, a killer, a rapists) No it says WHOSOEVER believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life.
