For all of my life, the Good Lord has blessed me in so many ways. It would literally be impossible for me to count all of the things that God has done for me in my life. Each and every day, no matter how bad it gets, is a blessing not only because God has made it but because God is giving me more chances to live and learn and love. I have had pretty bad days. Days where I thought I would end my life, days where I couldn’t see straight, days where there was no hope. However, all the time, God said to me, “Have faith in me and don’t give up.” So I never gave up. Anyways, let me share with you some of the blessings that God has done in my life.

He gave me music

When I was a kid praying for a guitar, God had already said that he was going to make me an excellent musician. He had mercy on me and decided that my life was going to be very musical. God made me a singer, a pianist, a bassist, and a guitarist, in essence he made me a musician.

When I was a kid, I had God in my heart and I put God at the forefront of my life and sure enough, God made me what I wanted to be. The bible explicitly states that if we have God in our lives, then he will give us our hearts desires. Sure enough, God kept his promise.

He gave me a job

All throughout my adult life, I have worked. I have worked here and there and everywhere in all sorts of industries. However, I know that the reason why I always had a source of income is because God provided it for me. I know that there are a lot of people out there that wish that they could have jobs and they don’t. How could a kid, with little to no work experience, had so many jobs? I say it’s because I prayed about it and God answered like he always does.

I remember back when I first started to work, I got a Job interview at Panera Bread. The General Manager was the one who was interviewing me and he brought out a stack of papers and he said to me, “do you know what are all of these stacks of papers?” and I said “ No I don’t” and he said that they were papers of resumes and job applications of people who were technically more qualifies than me, they were people with years of work experience in a restaurant field and other customer service roles and then he said this, “ I have all of these applications, but I am going to pick you as the new employee for Panera Bread.” I couldn’t believe what he had just said. I didn’t have any prior work experience except for one but I’ve never worked in a restaurant or been really fast paced. God was the one who was there for me. At the end of my year of working at Panera Bread, I decided to leave and go work for a different company. I would be doing sales in that company and I didn’t mind. However, The General manager at Panera Bread asked me to stay at Panera Bread. I asked him why does he want me to stay? And he said, “I like the way that you work German.” The other managers were giving me more responsibilities at the end too, Also, one of my managers kept saying that she was going to put me on the kitchen line. I had learned how to do 2 positions out of five, not impressive I know, but she was planning on putting me on number 3 and the General Manager was saying that he was going to give me a trainer position.” I couldn’t believe what I was hearing.” All throughout my time at Panera Bread, I felt like I struggled. No, I did struggle, but God was blessing my work hands and I couldn’t be more grateful. I left that job though because I couldn’t take working in a restaurant. It’s fast paced, brutal, you work late nights, and you don’t get weekends off. I just couldn’t take it. Loved the fact that they were responsible, didn’t like some of the things, but they were always on point with the pay and I could ask off whenever I needed.

Anyways my point is this, All throughout my life, I felt like I struggled with work, it’s true for a wide variety of my jobs, but God always came through and decided to bless my work hands when it came down to it. I struggled at first and then later I picked up the slack and really showed up. In reality, it’s God who helped me. God lifted up my spirits when I needed it the most. God gave me strength when I needed it. God gave me wisdom, intelligence, commitment, determination, hope, etc. etc.

God gave me this blog

All good things come from the Lord, and I can honestly say that this blog is definitely a good thing. This blog gives me a chance to voice my opinions about myself. This blog gives me a chance to show the world what I think. I get to show my music in this blog and hopefully I’ll get a side income from it too. As of this point, I still haven’t made a single dollar from this blog, but I know that God blesses the hard worker, so I won’t have to fear about income, God is taking care of that.

God gave me an education

I know that there are a lot of people out there who are not educated. I thank God for the education that I have right now. God has given me a high school diploma, and I’ll be honest with you, sometimes I think of that diploma and it just fills me up with so much happiness. I am so proud of that diploma. All throughout my high school career I kept doubting myself. I kept saying to myself that I was not going to make it. However, God had other plans and sure enough, he let me graduate with my high school diploma.

I am now praying that God will give me a college degree, and hopefully a master’s degree as well. It is something that I have to pray for a lot. I do not know what God’s will in that aspect is, but I do know that I need to work hard at everything that I do. If I work hard, God himself will help me.

My necessities

All throughout my life, my necessities have been met. I have had clothes, food, shelter, a car, love, hope, and most importantly God. I need God above needing a college degree. I need God more than I need a job. I need God more than I need air. I know that if I pray for something, then God will give it to me, if it is according to his will. I have prayed to God for a lot of things, so I have to have faith in him that I will get my things that I have prayed for.
