Essential Christian blogging tips to help grow your Christian blog

I have been blogging for a little over a year now. I have been doing multiple blogs ever since I’ve started my first blog. However, this blog is probably the most successful. My two music blogs didn’t go too far, and my other blog, well I’ve kind of took a break.

            I have been going to church all of my life. I got saved when I was a kid, I know what it means to be Christian.

            So, with that said, I know a thing or two of what it means to be a Christian blogger.

            Christian blogging means that you have to work two jobs, go to college, write your music, and write in your blog, workout, and find time to enjoy life along the way. It truly is a wonderful experience but not an easy one. Sometimes you have to spend late nights trying to finish that blog post. Sometimes you have to get up early in order to hit that workout sesh.

            Sometimes the days are hard, good, ugly, fun, but most importantly, they should reflect what God has in your life.

With that being said, here are some tips that I want to share with you in order for you to succeed at Christian blogging.

Pray

            Before starting anything. Before setting out to find a wife, play the guitar, shoot basketball, learn how to do math, or write in a blog; it’s important that you pray to God first and foremost.

            Why? Because God gives wisdom for everything. God gives wisdom for math, guitar, basketball, soccer, piano, writing, you name it. God has wisdom for it.

            With that being said, it’s especially important that you pray to God first before you try and do anything in his name.

            Why? Because doing something in God’s name requires God.

            What happens is that we don’t have the strength, mentality, power, or even ability to do anything in God’s name without God, we really don’t have any of those things in anything that we do. But God allows certain things to happen in order for us to live, which is why people work and get rich without being Christian, God allows them because he loves them that much.

            God is not weak, God is strength, God knows what he’s doing and we are not to judge his decisions even if they look very strange.

Write

            So, if you want to get good at something, you need to practice doing it.

            I know it’s a struggle, especially if you’re not good at writing, but the benefits; rewards; and impact are so much greater than yourself.

            Imagine this, your God and king has ordered you to spread the word of him throughout all of the world, and having the internet at your fingertips with abilities to spread the word to the world at ease. Are you going to sit by and not do it? The only thing that us Christians are supposed to do is spread the word of God? Of course listening to all of what God says as well is needed. But we are to spread the word of God to everyone! All nations and tongues must know who Jesus is.

            Well, the world doesn’t want to know, it’s too difficult to talk about God in public, so I’m going to do it in a way, that people have to ask for the preaching of God before they hear it. That way is through the internet.

            So, don’t be discouraged by lack of skills in writing in order to write for God. God does not care how well you can write, he’ll make a writer out of you. God doesn’t care if you’re a drug dealer, he’ll make a preacher out of you. God took David, the smallest kid from the crowd and sent him to fight a giant. If God can do that and win! He can surely have you sit down for 20 minutes to an hour a day and have you write in a blog, haha.

            I didn’t have good writing skills prior to entering into the blogging world. But I said to myself, God is worth learning how to write. So I started writing, typing, researching how to use different things in writing and sure enough I became a blogger.

            Oh, without a doubt I have errors in my writing, but I don’t care. The only thing that I care about is knowing that God loves what I am doing. I am going to improve on my writing and I will improve on my writing all the way until I die, if it means that I am going to spread the word of God.

            I hope God is pleased with what I’m doing.

            I know I didn’t talk about salvation today, but if anyone out there is alone, desperate, lost, confused, and needs God in in their lives. Just know that God is with you. God can help you, God can always guide you, God can do the best for you, God is the best for you. God loves you, and you are loved by God almighty the most above anyone in the world. So, don’t fear about anything that may happen in this world, fear God and nothing else will scare you.
