Topics to write about in a Christian album

You can write about anything that is set in your heart. However, it should relay to some Christian themes because obviously, you are a Christian musician. From love to grace, there are actually boundless amounts of topics that you can write about in a Christian album. With that being said, here are some topics that you can write about in a Christian album.

Love

            If you’re a beginner songwriter, then love is probably the easiest topic to write about.

            You know about love, you have felt love before, love is an emotion that is shared amongst everyone and the more love the better. So, who could love you more than God and why not write about the love that God has for you.

            There are many things that you could talk about in regards to the way that God loves you. You could talk about how God has shown you love, how love persists even through the difficult times, the ultimate love that God gave for us, how God loves us every single day, etc. etc. The list is endless.

            Also, from a secular standpoint, love is the easiest topic that you can write about because it’s relatable and known throughout everyone. Love is a popular topic because you can talk about a lot of things in regards to love.

            Therefore, it would be an easy way to start songwriting because your own self would want to talk about love from it’s own viewpoint and that would make it more relatable with everyone.

Grace

            A very close relative to love, grace is the means by which forgiveness is done. What do you think of when you say grace? To me, grace is the emotion that you give to someone when you know that they are down or below you. Obviously we are all below God and God had pity on us and so he showed us grace with his son.

            I think of grace as a cornerstone to all Christian ideology. The reason for that is because without the grace that God has given us, it really is impossible to be happy about the battle that was won.

            I mean like why was the battle won? Jesus won the battle and so now we are free but that ultimately came from God’s grace.

            So, grace is a good topic to write about. Especially for a musician trying to make an impact.
