God convicted me of my heart part 2

So, I have never had a doubt that we all have a purpose in life. But just today, I started to question myself whether we all have a job purpose, that has never happened to me before. But I do agree that God has a purpose for me. So, something inside of me just tells me that I’m on the right path because now I recognize that, that’s my sin talking to me, trying to get me to doubt in God and what’s God’s plan for my life. So now, in a sense, that confirms that my plan for my life is to be a musician. Also, God gave me musician skills so that I may use it for good purposes. It’s not in vain that God does things, but what does God want me to do with music? Let’s talk about this.

God gave me all things

            I believe that God gave me all of the things that I have. From my guitar to my voice to the picks and the capo, to my laptop and even my mixing speakers. I do not believe that God gave me these things in vain, therefore, I must use it for his purposes. Whatever they may be.

            God gave me skills that are so useful! I love all of the skills that God gave me, but now! Now I have to use it for him.

            I know that God doesn’t want me to be a slave to him, that’s not what God called me to do. Also, God’s relationship is not a sin, you can never have too much of God. But the bible specifically mentions that you are to worship God with song. What else does that mean?

            Also, the bible says that you are to worship God with all of your strength, soul, mind. What else does that mean when I have a guitar and music skills? So, literally, I am supposed to worship God with my music. That is one of the things that I have to do in life. It doesn’t matter if I play in stadiums, even though that would be cool, but what matters is that I do my part and I’m going to let God do the rest. God will be at my side no matter where I am in life.

            Even if I never sell anything in life, or after I die, God will know that I wrote those songs for him and he will have a recording studio in heaven unlike anything that I’ve ever been in. He’ll have these things ready for me.

So, as of last night, I started working on my music

            When God convicted me of my life, I immediately started working on my music. I started off by working on my lyric writing. I started writing lyrics, mainly because it was night time and I couldn’t start playing the guitar because it would be too loud, but I started writing lyrics and I have made it a commitment to write lyrics and practice lyric writing for about an hour a day in order to get good and better at my craft.

            I noticed that I have been writing in my blog for about a month and it has been growing, but I spend too much time on my blog and not enough time writing music, so I need to cut my hours writing a blog in order to get into more music. I know it means that it could take longer to grow my following, but it won’t matter because God will provide. He always provides at the right time too.
