***Just letting you guys know, I might get monetary compensation for the goods and services offered on this blog.***
I know what you’re thinking, you’ve finally done it. You want to be a Christian musician, you have the music skills, you have some rocking songs, and now it’s time for marketing! YAY! Don’t look so excited now!
I know that marketing might not be the most exciting thing to do in the music field, especially when we could be songwriting or playing a gig. But trust me, after a while you get used to it and as a matter of fact, it becomes something fun!
But now what, you started your music blog and you don’t know what to write about! It’s okay, Papi German is here to help! Let’s go over some creative things that you can do to jumpstart your Christian music blog.
- Write about your faith.
When you first start off writing, people want an introduction to who you are. Who are they talking to? Are they talking to someone new to the faith but they want to write Christian music? Or are they talking to a seasoned veteran in the faith?
I’m not ranking people above other people, I’m just saying that it will give them a hint as to who they are talking to. No matter what your experience is as a Christian, you will find people to relate to and those people will in turn, turn into your fans.
I have explained countless of times what my faith is all about. And I hope that the world does get to see who exactly I am. I hope that the world can get to see exactly who Jesus is.

- Write about your music
So, now that we know about your faith, tell us about your music. What are you trying to convey with your music? Are you trying to worship God? Are you trying to praise him? Being specific to these terms are very important because they are different along with a lot of other things in Christianity.
Tell us what kind of music you are writing. Are you a Christian rocker? Are you a Hip-hop artist? Are you a producer? These kind of things are essential because that way, record labels, artists, songwriters, and other industry people can know where to go to in case they ever need anything.
- Talk about you
Hey guys! If you like this blog post so far, be sure to check out my song that’s out now on all major streaming platforms. The song is called Peace in your heart by me German G. I did everything in this blog myself. Here are the QR Codes to my song for Spotify, Apple music, and YouTube music. But it’s out everywhere. I hope you guys like it

So we know about your faith, we know about your music, what about you? God loves us for who we are. He didn’t make us robots with no feelings or personalities, but rather, he made us unique to our situations and circumstances.
So now, it’s time to show that off. Give us a taste of who you are. What kind of clothes do you wear? What kind of music do you listen to or used to listen to before you turned Christian? What is your creative process like? Where do you go for inspiration or to get out of writers block? If you believe in writers block.
- Talk about God
This is a Christian blog for a reason. Talk about God in your blog. You wanted to make your music about God? Why not make God an essential aspect of your blog as well? As a Christian we should be aiming to spread the word of God wherever we go shouldn’t we? Therefore, we should spread the word of God on the internet.

God is more important to this music gig than that guitar that you have that you record with. After the fans have died down, after the show is over, when we’re too old to remember our memories, God will still be there.
- Talk about the difficult things
It’s funny because I don’t actually mind talking about the difficult things in life. Why do bad things happen to good people? Can a homosexual go to heaven? Is there such a thing as good and evil? I don’t mind talking about those kind of things because it reminds me of just who exactly God is, and also I want to give the right answer to whoever is asking.
You might be surprised when I tell you that some of my topics that are difficult to talk about have been getting a lot of views. I guess everyone is just looking for someone to say the things that need to be said.
But know this, I don’t mind talking about these things because I have lived in Christianity for almost all of my life and I am not new to the faith. I currently pray in my room at night, I go to church, I make songs for God and I’m not exactly an amateur at this. I know the right answers, if you don’t know the right answers, it might be best to let the people who know for sure to answer the questions.
- Your musical experience
Talk about your musical experience. What instrument did you start off with? What instrument do you want to learn? What artists inspired you to become a musician? This is not only good for the fans, but also, for the producers and A&R representatives that are out there. They want to know who they’re talking to regarding musicality.
- Up and coming events or albums
As an artist who is starting out, we should be aiming to release music consistently and constantly. It’s good for our brand awareness and also for gaining exposure.

Also talking about your up and coming shows will benefit you the most. That’s where people will see just exactly who they are signing up for on their blog. Also, people love to see a good performance live!
Your albums are your voice. It’s where you put your heart and soul. It’s where your hard work is shown. Whether you produced your album completely or had help, you worked hard to put it out, so be sure to talk about your up and coming albums.
- Christian blogging
Talk about your experience as a Christian blogger. Even if you’re new, talk about your writing experience. Even if you don’t have much writing experience, talk about how God is worth more than anything in this entire life and you are willing to put in the work to become a great writer for God. There really are no excuses as to why you can’t write about this topic.
- Your gear
Talk about the things that you have that help you to be a musician. Talk about them, whenever I talk about the things that I have, I try my best to mention that the blessings that I have in my life are exactly that, blessings. God gave me a house, a laptop, music gear, food, clothes, money, and I should be using it all for his glory. Of course, there are some things that I can use for myself, but God should be the one to come in priority whenever I mention this.

- My favorite, Salvation
I know I went over a few Christian things in this blog post earlier, but I specifically say salvation because that’s our hope as Christians. As Christians, we want the whole world to know that Jesus died for us. We want the whole world to know that God helped us. Therefore, we need to be sharing this message.

Broadcast
I hope that I gave you guys some really good topics to write about in your Christian music blog. If you guys want to learn more about God, if you want God in your lives, if you want to serve God, then feel free to ask how you can get closer to God. Or ask God directly via prayer. God is a better responder than me.
Thank you all for listening in on this blog post. I hope that I have been an inspiration and a hope to you all. Please pray, read your bible, go to church, and love God above all else. Like, comment, share, subscribe, and I will see you all next time. German Gonzalez, signing out!
