How is God good all the time?

“In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God.” That’s the gospel of John.

            In the gospel of John at the beginning of the book, it just described that nothing was made without God and how God was always here and he will forever be here.

            God is good all the time because it’s his nature.

            I know that some of us are probably wondering how is it possible that someone doesn’t have a single bad bone in their body? Let’s talk about this.

When life is good we see that God is good, however…

            When life is bad, we tend to think that God is bad.

            Let me ask you this, just because your life is bad at the moment, does that truly mean that God is bad? Let me ask you this in this manner, are you a sinner?

            The answer to that question is yes, we are all sinners. We’re not sinners in the sense of oh we have no good in us because God is the one who gives good to us. But we are sinners in the sense that we have done bad things in our lives and always do bad things in our lives continuously.

            If you’ve ever lied, you’re a sinner.

            Therefore, how do you not know if you’re getting what you rightfully deserve? Everyone gets punished for the bad things that they’ve done in life, and everyone gets what they rightfully deserve, that’s bible not me.

            God is Just in all that he does as well. Therefore, if God is just in all that he does, why wouldn’t he punish us for the bad things that we do.

            Also, it’s not necessarily a punishment from God that bad things happen in our lives.

            Sometimes we go through what’s called trials. And these trials are supposed to be meant to give us victory and glorify God.

            Also, sometimes we go through tests.

            The devil puts us through tests because he wants to see us fail. He is known as the accuser. He is known as the one in God’s courtroom who accuses us of all of our sins.

            However, when we show that we were saved through the blood of the lamb, it doesn’t matter.

There are actually a whole lot of other reasons as to why things can happen in our lives and some of them we don’t even know but God knows by himself. So, we can’t blame God for the bad things that happen in life because God is holy and righteous in all that he does.
