I am so glad that those of you who are reading this are reading it. If you googled it or searched it on another search engine, then great, I absolutely love it. The reason why I love it so much is because that means that you want to start a theological blog yourself.

Well at least that’s what’s going through my mind when you search a thing like this.

So, here is some of my advice on how to start a theological blog.

Blog about what is true

I often times hear people say that they want to do something good for God. I get it! You want to do something good with all your heart and place it on God, that’s good.

However, do you have any hidden purposes for wanting to start a theological blog? Do you want money? Fame? Fortune?

You see, in my opinion, doing something for God means that you put those things aside and accept God and take the things that God has given out.

There are a lot of things in the world that I don’t personally agree with and yet I still blog about it.

I’ll give you an example, I do not support the LGBTQ movement. I don’t think that homosexuality is right and I think that it’s a sin.

However, I don’t think that people should speak such hatred towards homosexuals because that’s not what God would want either.

As a Christian, God wants everyone in heaven, no matter what. So, that means that he wants the LGBTQ community to go to heaven. He loves them.

That kind of message might not be so popular with a lot of people. I’m telling you right now, it’s really not that popular with people.

And I still blog about it because I know that it’s true. It’s in the bible that it’s true.

Don’t sellout to the mainstream media.

Write about broad categories

What I mean by this is if you’re going to write about Christianity, write about Christianity, don’t write about specifically John 3:16. I know that, that’s a very important verse to Christians, however, that’s not the entire bible.

Talk about the bible as a whole. If all you do is read certain books, I wouldn’t recommend getting into blogging about God because you don’t know much about God if all you do is read certain books.

Some people say, “Well then I’ll just blog about the New Testament because the Old Testament is full of awful things and the New Testament is full of love.”

The whole bible is full of love. The New Testament, no matter how bad it is, is full of love.

There is a saying in the music industry, whoever doesn’t like your type of music, doesn’t listen to it!

The same is true for non-Christians. If you don’t like Christianity, it’s most likely because you don’t know anything about it.

If you just start listening to the word of God and submersing yourself in the word of God, you will like it. It’s actually in the bible that you will like it.

Also, there are a lot of Old Testament references in the New Testament, and you won’t understand any of it unless you read the Old Testament.

The reason why Jesus died on the cross is an Old Testament Reference. A few of them actually.

The fact that Jesus is a king is an Old Testament Reference.

A whole lot of it is an old testament reference and you need to understand the whole picture in order to understand all of it.

Search up other blogging strategies

If you search up other blogging strategies, they will help you to write, develop your influence, and grow as a person.

I remember back when I first started blogging, I was more interested in learning the business side of blogging because well, I needed money.

Also because I was learning how to write better through one of my friends, she helped me to develop my sentences more professionally.

So, I was really interested in the business side of blogging, so I looked up on YouTube different online content creators and I found Income School. Go check them out on YouTube, they have a lot of helpful content that will grow your blog.

I love what one of the phrases that they practically preach on Income school is that the more content, the more traffic.

            I absolutely love that.

Because it gives a way for bloggers in any niche to accumulate a following.

Well the real phrase is, “more content is almost always the answer.” That’s actually a Gary Vee quote. If you write a lot of content, you will almost always find the answer that you were looking for.

This actually goes in line with my training that I did to become a social media manger.

The social media management course that I took said to just start putting up blog posts and people will start to come on your blog. I absolutely love that because it’s true.

There are a lot of other tips and tricks that I could show you to become a successful theological blogger, but why don’t you go look them up yourself and see which ones are the best for you. Honestly, if you don’t have too many friends or are starting really small, then just write a lot of content and people will come.

If you want to go to heaven, then believe in Jesus and Jesus will get you into heaven. If you want to learn more about God, feel free to leave in the comments section as to what you want to learn. God will always have something for you.
