What niche should I pick for my blog?

There are a wide variety of niche’s that are out there and are very much available to write about. From Christian blogs, to finance blogs, from music blogs, to writing blogs, there are a plethora of resources out there that you can choose from in order to further your education, choose to blog about, and ultimately make a living off of.

            Today, I will go over different niches, what you should pick as your niche to write about, and why I chose to write in a Christian blog.

            Let’s get started.

Different niches.

            The world is full of groups and topics that you can choose from in order to write about. The only real requirement that you need in order to write in that niche is to have a passion for that topic or a deep understanding of that topic.

            Say for example me, I know a lot about music. So it would be wise if I were to write in a music blog.

            I can grow my following through my music blog and I can gain influence as a musician.

            It would require a little amount of time, relatively, in order to create a great blog each day.

            You can blog about Finances, cooking, travel, music, writing, math, history, Archaeology, Science, cars, forensics, deep sea fishing, jumping rope, weightlifting, exercise in general, guitar, piano, Jesus, blogging, etc. etc.

            There are a multitude of ways that you can make a profit on all of these different niches too.

            I personally believe that if you work hard enough, you can make a lot of money in anything that you work at.

            That’s not my saying, but rather, that’s the bible who says that.

***Right now would be a perfect time to say that I don’t guarantee anything, if you want to go out there and start working for your future, then today is the perfect day to work. But I’m not guaranteeing that you’ll make a lot of money.***

What topic should you choose?

            So for more experienced bloggers and marketers, it’s actually not that hard to make a blog that gets 100,000 page views a month.

            That’s actually how they make their money.

            Some people can start a blog and have the end goal of selling that blog for profit in the future.

            Why can they do that? Because they know how to make it succeed and they’ve done this before.

            I’m gaining that experience, but right now I’m getting between 100 – 200 page views a month just listening to the things that I’ve learned on the internet.

            But I am getting off topic. The first blog that they probably started was something that was easy for them to write in. baby steps right?

            They had to have been passionate for something when they first started writing in their blog because that would have been the easier option.

            The best bloggers in the world talk about the things that they are very knowledgeable in.

            It’s easy for some bloggers to make a website because they’ve been doing it for a while. However, something else comes into play.

            The key here is that your researching skills must be on point.

            If you can research, you can write for any topic.

            Not literally but you would be able to write about a lot of topics.

            Therefore, if you’re not good at anything, you still have an option to write in a blog but you would have to research a lot about a specific subject in order to actually talk about it.

            However, most of us will have something valuable to contribute.

            I contribute to my blog as a musician and a Christian and I absolutely love it.

            If it were me and I was to start all over again, I would do a few things in order to find out which niche I would like to write about.

            Ask myself a few questions: What am I good at? What is something that I’m passionate about? What skills do I have? Am I good at writing?

            All of these factors are going to help you decide what to write about.

Why I chose to write in a Christian blog

            I am a Christian and I chose to write in a Christian blog because I love spreading the word of God to the world. It’s a light in my heart that just burns so bright. One day, when this world is getting to know Jesus, I hope that I could have played a big part in spreading the message to the world.

            I am also a Musician, therefore, I thought to myself, why not blog about Christian music because I love music!

            I could gain fans through this blog and that would help me out in my music career.
