So, I was actually listening to a radio preacher and I heard him say that we need forgiveness in our lives. However, we don’t just need forgiveness from God, we need to forgive other people too.
First, it’s time for our moment of silence. At this time, I would like all of us to pray for everything and anything in our lives. Pray for this blog post too, so that we can understand better the things that God wants to teach us.
Now time for the moment of silence. Take a minimum of 5 minutes out of your day to pray for the things in your life.
Now back to the show.
You ever wonder why you’ve been hurt so many times? You ever reminisce about those days when you got hurt?
I’ll be honest with you, I do. I reminisce sometimes about the bad days in my life and I can’t help but to get angry once again.
I get angry and I love the feeling of being angry against that person, it feels good because then I feel like I’m getting my revenge on that person.
However, it’s not what God instructs us to do.
Rather than become angry over and over again, the bible states that we are to forgive our enemies. We are to forgive people for what they have done in our lives.
I know it’s a tough pill to swallow, but you’re doing that for yourself and not for the other person.
The other person could care less if you forgive them for what they’ve done, but you need to forgive for yourself.
Here are some reasons why forgiving is for yourself and not for your enemies.
- Forgiving gets you good with God. Jesus said specifically that, “Whosoever forgives his brethren of their tresspasses, then God will forgive you of your tresspasses. But whoever doesn’t forgive of their brothers tresspasses, your heavenly father will not forgive you of your tresspasses.”
- Forgiving sets you free. People forgive, but that’s because it sets you free from other people. When you don’t forgive, it’s like you’re a slave to the other person because that just encloses who you are to that person.
- Forgiving also makes you happier. Being happy is what God wants us to be in the first place. Once we accept Jesus into our lives, we have a joy that no one can take away from us. That Joy, God doesn’t want us to lose it. And if you hold on to an anger for too long, it can turn into bitterness which in turn shows off as anger.
Therefore, we must forgive for all of these reasons.

I sure hope that I have inspired some people to go out there and start forgiving everyone. Keep in mind that God is always there watching everything. So, never forget that whatever wrong someone does in your life, God will always find a way to avenge you.
If you want to go to heaven, then believe in Jesus and you will go to heaven.
Thank you all for listening in on this blog post. I hope that I have been an inspiration and a hope to you all. Please pray, read your bible, go to church, and love God above all else. Like, comment, share, subscribe, and I will see you all next time. German Gonzalez, signing out!
