Can you actually make money by being a Christian musician? Can you live off of it too?

Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to talk about the feasibility of actually becoming a musician and making a living off of it. 

Before we get started, let’s have our moment of silence. 

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to work harder at the things that we need to work hard in. Ask God to bless the work that we have. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.

Can you make a living off of your music?

I get it, you have all this talent and now you’re wondering if you’re ever going to get paid for the talent that you have. 

I get it! 

However, don’t get discouraged. Everything good in life takes work and patience. Therefore, take the time and build yourself up to do the good things in life. 

And my answer to this question is yes! You can absolutely make a living off of your music regardless of when you are living in life. 

But let’s look at some studies that support this theory. 

According to Musicindustryhowto.com, the median indie musician only makes between 20,000 to 25,000.

However,

According to Boysetsfire.net, they said that the average indie band was making an average of 80,000 dollars. 

That’s actually not that bad considering the fact that some indie bands are solo acts with touring musicians.

So really, it’s a big field that you have to play in and ultimately, it will depend on how hard you work to achieve the dreams that you want to achieve. 

So, the answer to this question in this sense is yes you can live off of your music. 

However, it’s important to note that Boysetsfire also mentions that an indie band who just started is not going to make the same amount as the indie band that has been around for a while. 

Obviously just like with anything else that there is, it takes time to build wealth. 

So it’s clear that while you are building your fanbase and growing your music business, you will need some sort of income to sustain you while you build for a better future.

So, obviously, there is a lot of money to be made from all of this music. 

Music can be difficult, however, just don’t let it get difficult by working hard at your goals.
