Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all some New Year’s resolutions as a Christian and musician.
Before we get started, let’s have our moment of silence.
At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to become the person that he wants us to become. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.
Now back to the show
New Year’s resolutions
Ahh so what is there to say about New Years resolutions that hasn’t been said already?
They’re a great start to a new chapter, they are to do lists for the first week of January, they’re small habits that fade away, they are new goals that we have for ourselves, etc. etc.
I personally don’t find the great joy in starting a New Year’s resolution because if I wanted to start a new habit, I would do it any time during the year.
But I get it, it’s a new year and it’s a new me and you want to start the year off right! I get it!
So without further ado, let’s talk about my New Years resolutions.
Work harder at my blog
I see now and I believe with all my heart that I was actually meant to write in this blog. I believe that God has a purpose for this blog and I really do believe that he put this desire in me to write in it.
And of course, it’s not for nothing. The Lord knows what I need and the Lord knows what I want.
So my main concern is to actually work harder in this blog.
I’m thinking about investing between 2 to 3 hours a day in this blog.
Maybe get some more blog posts up on this blog, I don’t know. All I know is that everything in life takes hard work and dedication so that’s exactly what I’m going to do with this blog.
Make more music
I actually want to write more songs.
Of course, I know that God gave me this talent for music because it was meant for him. And I don’t want to waste it.
I do want to use all of my talents for God. He has blessed my hands ever since I was born and I do not want to waste any of the gifts that he has given me.
Therefore, I need to find time during the day to write more lyrics and create more poems. Also to create more songs.
Get closer to God
This probably should’ve been first on this list. But I was lit up yesterday when my sales manager told me that giving up my music would make me more complete with God.
And honestly, that lit a fire like a nuclear bomb inside my heart and it just ignited me to give up my music.
Right now, I’m riding off of that wave.
Broadcast
I sure hope that I have been an inspiration and a hope to you all. Please remember to pray, read your bible, go to church, and love God above all else. Like, comment, share, subscribe, and I will see you all next time.
If you want to go to heaven, then believe in Jesus and you will go to heaven. (John 3:16)
