Hey everyone! Today, I’m going to teach you guys how to pray so that God intervenes.
Before we get into it, let’s have our moment of silence.
At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to make excellent prayers. Ask God to intervene in our lives and to make our prayers holy. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.
Now back to the show
How to pray to God to intervene?
So in this blog post, I would just like to highlight some key points to a prayer.
What is a prayer? How can we pray so that God gives us the things that we want?
The first thing that I would like to mention is that praying is not God being a bank. So like, even though we can ask God for money, cars, houses, etc. etc. It’s a rather shallow way of looking at prayer.
Prayer is so powerful and yes it is important to pray for those things, but I hope that you’re not trying to get BIG Mansions, Lamborghini’s, and millions of dollars because that simply is not going to happen just by prayer alone. Although I will say that the bible does give methods of becoming rich, so if you ever want to consult with those methods, I would be happy to give you some bible principles on money. The biggest principle is that money belongs to God and God is the provider of money, so we can’t receive any amount of money without God.
But that’s for another blog post.
Prayer should be used to make us more holy.
Prayer can be used for material things, but the things that are eternal are often times things that are not materialistic.
As a matter of fact, the bible says that we are supposed to set our treasures in heaven, for wherever our treasure is, our heart is there too.
So, even though we can pray for materialistic things, and it’s not bad to do so, we must understand that we might not receive those things for whatever are the holy purposes of God.
And we can’t have a bad spirit just because we don’t have those things.
I’ve always wanted to be a soldier or marine and God did not let me do those things, for whatever are his holy purposes and I don’t mind.
Here are some bible verses about prayer.
I’ve always wanted to do a lot of things and God said no to a few of those things.
And you know what? It’s alright with me.
But I get it, you want good things and there were rich people in the bible who were holy? Right?
Psalm 37:4 states, “ Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.”
So basically, delight yourself in the Lord! Take joy in what the Lord has and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Only the Lord knows our hearts, we don’t even know our hearts, God does.
And he searches us and he searches the desires of our hearts to the depths.
Is money bad? No, money isn’t bad, in fact, money and materialistic things can be used for holiness.
Imagine if you just won the lottery, there are millions of people out there that could benefit from a little bit of that money and you could help them.
You could give to the church or a mission.
You could give to a food pantry.
You could start a non profit.
You could even start a business for yourself where God would be the center of your work.
I mean there are so many things that you could do with that money.
Just ask God for what you can do and he will guide you.
There is another bible verse that Jesus said and he states in John 15:7 it states, “ If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.”
God does intervene in our lives, we just have to look for it.
You know what’s funny?
I had made a prayer about a year before I got into my vacation job.
And I had actually forgotten about that prayer.
And what happened was that I got this job where I could take AMAZING VACATIONS.
And for some reason, I was compelled to go back into my prayer journal and read what were some of the prayers that I wanted from God.
And LITERALLY, it read, “Lord, give me a job where I can go on vacation.”
And sure enough, the Lord responded.
And what happened was that I had forgotten about what I had prayed for, but God DID NOT.
This shows the SOVEREIGNTY of God.
This shows that my God is ALIVE and DOES WORK.
And it shows that if you truly commit your works to the Lord, he will respond in due time.
It might not be immediately, but sometimes it is and sometimes you have to wait a long time for that to happen.
Another thing that you should do is to forgive the people that hurt you when you pray. Pray so that God can put forgiveness inside your heart because when the Lord was teaching his disciples how to pray and said the Lord’s prayer, he states that we should forgive one another just as God has forgiven us.
That’s very important because obviously the Lord wants peace on this earth and that can be accomplished only through him.
The last and final thing that I would tell you guys to do when you pray is to pray to God to make you more holy.
Ask God to instill holiness inside of you.
Ask God to make you a great Christian above all else.
If you pray for money, it’s not bad, then ask God to make you a holy rich person.
Ask God to make you the rich person that chases after him into heaven.
Ask God to help you to give that money back to him.
For that is the will of the Lord’s for the rich to give back their money for him.
I know I talked a lot about money in this blog post.
But when I hear this question of how can I ask God to intervene, it just makes me assume that people are looking for money because they are poor. And it makes sense.
But the way that you get God to intervene and to act in a miraculous manner is
So what happens is that God can actually act miraculously any day of the week.
and he doesn’t need you to pray to him to act miraculously.
What you should focus on is being faithful to God every single day and he will be faithful to you and the miracles will start to happen.
trust that they will start to happen.
