God willing, I’ll be releasing music soon

Hey guys! I’ve got some exciting news going on that’s happening.

Before we get into it, let’s have our moment of silence. 

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to become the musicians that he wants us to become. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.

So what happens is that I was reading up some articles yesterday about releasing music. 

And I found some bits of wisdom that actually pertained to me. 

And I realized to myself that I haven’t released music! 

And I said, “How can I call myself a Christian recording artist if I haven’t released any music yet? 

And honestly, I wanted to use Distrokid because one of the guys that I follow on YouTube actually uses Distrokid to promote his music on the internet. I actually respect this dude a lot, I think he’s a very accomplished musician, and he recommended people to use Distrokid because it was an awesome service. 

However, it costs money to join. 

And I started doing some research as to what service I could probably use to sell my music and I found Routenote. 

Routenote is completely free and you get to keep 85% of all your earnings! 

That’s actually really good! 

If you guys know anything about record labels and industry pros, You’ll know that Michael Jackson which is arguably one of the highest paid musicians in all of history, was only getting around 34% of all his earnings from selling music.

So YEAH, I get better than Major label money with Indie label help! I’ll take that any day. 

The only thing that you have to do is to worry about promotion. 

Obviously there is going to be a little bit of elbow grease from time to time, so you’re going to have to work on getting your music out there. 

But I digress. 

So yeah, I see the importance of publishing my music now. 

I actually can through Routenote. 

And I think that Routenote is going to be really good for me. 

And I got some good ideas for music videos. 

I’ve already recorded my first song and the second song that I want to release is already in the pipeline. 

One of them is like a pop-rock song, the other one is like a rap song. But don’t worry it’s nothing rap, it’s Christian lyrics with like a rap way of doing it. But that rap song has got like a pop beat to it. 

And I got a few other songs that I want to do as well but I don’t know because I feel like they could use some work still. 

Like I’m listening right now to some songs and I can’t help but to think it’s just not quite there yet. I mean I’m not going to lie, I’m saying to myself, it’s almost there! Haha! Trust me it’s going to sound good. 

I think I’m going to have to mix them myself.

And I have a good idea as to what I’m going to call this EP. 

It’ll be the Lord who guides me.
