Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all how to choose the right church.
Before we get into it, let’s have our moment of silence.
At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to guide us towards the right church. Ask God to bless our hands with work and to always guide us more towards him. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.
Now back to the show
Choosing the right church
So what happens is that I understand where this question comes from.
Like you have Presbyterian churches, Baptist, Anglican, Evangelist, etc. etc. There are so many different types of churches out there and you might be overwhelmed with your options.
However, we must understand something else.
When the first churches were made, they didn’t have any of those things, they were just called Christian churches.
And now that we have different options to choose what church we want to go to, what is the correct church?
Let’s talk about this.
What is the correct church?
Every church that you go to is going to have something that we don’t agree with.
There is going to be something that is wrong, there is going to be something that is sinful, etc. etc.
Why? Because even though churches are beautiful and are the house of God, they are still operated by man and man is imperfect and will always bring out imperfections.
So when you’re choosing a church, don’t go to the church for the people, but rather, for God.
Go to the church to learn more about God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and the scriptures.
The community part of the church is nice and they do have fellowship where you can talk with other believers and it’s nice, but that shouldn’t be your primary concern in a church.
God not people.
Now when picking a church that follows absolutely ALL of the things that God would want, I don’t think there is a church.
Why?
Because no one knows the complete will of God for your lives. Even the kings heart, no matter where he is, is under the rule of the Lord.
And so, there are these differences in churches, However, if you want a church who loves God with all their heart.
If you want a church who is after the will of God, If you want to hear the truth about the word of the Lord and be subject to it.
If you want to give your heart to the Lord and always be in it,
Then just pray to God to give you a church that does all those things. And God will move you from town to town and even all over the world to give you a church that he loves.
