Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all how hard it is to become a self-sufficient musician.

Before we get started, let’s have our moment of silence.

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to follow him throughout all of our lives. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.

Now back to the show

How hard is it to become a self-sufficient musician?

Short answer – It’s hard.

Long answer

Doing anything to the point where you’re getting paid a lot of money for it is very difficult.

And I mean like it’s not going to be like one day, you’re going to wake up and everything is going to be given to you.

The reason why is because there has to be a standard that people can see that will differentiate the people who are experts from the people who are amateurs.

And let’s be real, everyone has seen a video where it’s been poorly produced, poorly edited, poorly scripted, etc. etc.

And when we see these videos, we automatically know and recognize that this video doesn’t cut it for you.

Which is the reason why it takes a lot of work and a lot of effort to become a self-sufficient musician.

Not everyone can or even should do it because it takes a calling to do the things that you do.

Like, not everyone was called to be a soldier or a Doctor or a teacher.

Some are called to be musicians, others are called to be computer technicians, some are called to be Kings and Priests.

So you really can succeed at the things that you do, but they do require prayer. Prayer to God to guide you to do the things that you need to do.

And God will guide you to do the things that you need to do.

Trust in the fact that God will move you from place to place so that you will know what his true will for your life is.

I remember back when I was a kid, I really wanted to play the guitar, However, my parents didn’t want me to have a guitar.

So what I did was I said to myself, “I know someone greater than my parents. I know someone who will overrule my parents decisions. And that person is God.”

So what I did was I prayed to God to give me a guitar, and sure enough, my parents changed their minds and they gave me a guitar.

I never nagged them about it.

I only asked them once for the guitar and then I left it at that. And they said no, So I prayed about it, and I prayed and I let the Lord change my parents minds for me.

So pray to God about the things that are in your lives because he will guide you towards the right direction.
