Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all a post titled, our savior.
Before we get into it, let’s have our moment of silence.
At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to follow him throughout all of our lives. Ask God to guide us more towards him each and every day. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.
Now back to the show
Our savior and what he did
So before I go any further, I want to say that anyone can go to heaven.
Anyone in the world can go to heaven.
And it does not matter what you’ve done in life, but you can go to heaven.
Those are some bible basics that are found in the Gospel of John.
Now let’s get into it.
From the beginning
In the beginning, when God created Adam and Eve, Adam and Eve failed God with one rule. The only rule that there was, was to not eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
And that was the only rule.
And then, Adam and Eve failed that rule and they ate of the forbidden fruit.
And from then on, everything that man did that was against the will of God was considered sin.
And so it seems like evil had won. For it was the devil who tempted Eve to consume of the forbidden fruit.
However, God made a promise to Adam and Eve. and to the rest of humanity that there was going to be a redeemer one day who would save the whole world from all sins both big and small.
And that Humanity would be reunited with God once again through this redeemer.
But meanwhile, humankind was separated from God.
So began the start of humankind and the start of all the problems that were associated with sin.
And some time passed by and God kept making the promise to bring a redeemer to the world. Through different people.
Well at first there was Noah, Noah was the chosen one of God to restart the population because God thought that the world was evil and violent so he decided to restart the whole world with Noah.
And he did and again God made a promise with mankind that he was going to bring a redeemer to the world and he made the promise with Noah.
Also, God made another promise with Noah and that promise is upheld with the rainbow. And the promise was that God was never going to punish the world with water ever again no matter how bad the world got.
And that’s why we have a rainbow in the sky after it rains because it’s the promise from God that the world shall never be punished with that way ever again.
And so some more time passes and this time Abraham found favor in the sight of the Lord.
And the Lord came down and made a covenant with Abraham and said, “Your children shall be my people and out of your children shall arise the redeemer who will save the whole world from all of their sins.”
And then years later, came the King David.
And he was the one who killed Goliath.
However, he still had sin and could not be the redeemer of the Lord for he had sin.
However, with King David, God yet again made the promise that the redeemer was coming and that this time out of the root of David the king would come out of.
For the bible said that David was a man after the will of God and loved God with all his heart.
And then, there were a lot of prophets and prophecies that were made.
A lot of the prophecies that were made were made about this redeemer that was going to come.
And this redeemer was mentioned all throughout the Old Testament.
And by reading the Old Testament, we can safely admit that the redeemer was none other than Jesus.
The redeemer

Jesus fulfills all of the prophecies of the Old Testament about who the redeemer was supposed to be.
Now if you don’t know what a prophecy is, it’s basically the future told by the Lord.
It could have came in the form of an angel or military might or a million other ways that the Lord could have made the prophecy.
And if you look at the Old Testament, there are more than 1000 prophecies that occurred in the bible, not just about the redeemer but about other things as well.
And if we were to calculate the odds of any of the prophecies coming true, as described by scientists it would be 1 in grains of sand that it takes to fill the Universe.
And the fact is that history and science says that almost all of those prophecies have come true.
So not only has 1 Prophecy come true, but nearly 1000 prophecies have come true.
And Jesus was that redeemer.
Now there were a few prophecies about how the redeemer was supposed to be.
One of it is that he was supposed to be from the root of David, which he was, another one was that his own people were not supposed to accept him, which his own people killed him.
Another one was that he was supposed to die on a tree.
That prophecy was made around 400 years before the Romans started using crucifixion as a means of death penalty.
So there are too many things that say that Jesus is Lord.
Personally for me, what got me was the fact that when Jesus was getting baptized by John, a spirit like a dove descended from heaven and there was a loud voice that said, “This is my beloved son whom I am well pleased.”
And according to scripture, there was not just one person who saw that, it was a multitude of people who saw that!
A multitude of people saw that Jesus was Lord.
And it was written and spoken of by 4 witnesses: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.
And so what is the gospel?

The gospel is simply put, we have all done bad things in our lives.
We have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.
But that sin does not separate us from God.
That sin can be covered by the blood of Jesus if we choose to believe in him and seek him.
Choose to live our lives after him.
That’s what the gospel is.
It’s hope for us.
Because we are to be of good cheer because now we can go to heaven and live with God forever.
