Hey everyone! So today, I want to share with you guys the most common different Christian music genres that there are out there.
Before we get into it, let’s have our moment of silence.
At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to follow him throughout all of our lives. Ask God to guide us more towards him each and every day and to help us to worship him through song and in our daily lives no matter what happens. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.
Now back to the show
Christian Rock
Rock and roll, haha, some say it’s the grandaddy of all music.
I personally don’t think so but that’s just my opinion.
Rock has been around for ages. For as long as there has been an electric guitar, there has been rock or some variation of it.
The earliest rock star I would probably say in the secular world has to have been Robert Johnson.
They called him lightning back in the 1920s for his fast guitar playing abilities.
But now we use forms of rock in order to worship the Lord today.
And I personally don’t think there’s anything wrong with Christian rock. I know that there are some variations of it that are like screaming and are really all up in your face, I don’t like that.
But there ya go we got rock and roll as our first genre.
It’s actually the type of music that I write. I also write raps and other types of music as well.
But rock has a special place in my heart.
I guess it’s because I’ve always listened to it and it was probably my heaviest influence growing up as a kid.
I don’t know. But anyways, there ya go, we got rock.
Christian rap
Rap has another special place in my heart.
I remember some of the first songs that I ever tried to imitate by voice were rap songs.
I Remember how I used to not be Christian, I would imitate Eminem’s songs on REPEAT all day every day.
I could also do a whole bunch of other rap songs but I always did Eminem mainly because he didn’t say the N-word and I didn’t want to get any dirty looks from my friends who were black if I was saying a rap song.
And Eminem was big when I was growing up.
The first album that I think I listened to Eminem was his recovery album. Don’t get me wrong Busta Rhymes, Lil Wayne, and 50 cent were always on my playlists and I remember I could do a whole bunch of their songs.
But idk.
And to this day, I still make rap.
I know how to make hip-hop beats and I can rap very well. I’m even coming out with a rap song pretty soon. I just need to finish it.
Christian pop
I’ve recently gotten into pop music and honestly I’m really digging the vibe.
It’s powerful and simple. It’s hardly ever unique but effective.
I listen to a lot of pop nowadays and I want to create pop music.
I think I’ve always liked pop, it’s just that I hid it behind the whole pop-punk scene and I called myself punk, haha.
Anyways there’s pop.
Holy music
Now this is the type of music that my church does. It’s called Holy music.
What it is it’s basically an old style of hymns. And don’t count this type of music out.
Because it’s chords progression and powerful and strong and their lyrics are holy.
Sometimes I’m astonished at some of the doctrine that’s said in those songs because it is completely true.
Sometimes it’s doctrine that I just had no idea that was supposed to have been thought of.
And yet, they found a way to worship God in song through those lyrics.
I want to see an artist who does holy music. That person would go viral.

Broadcast
I sure hope that I have been an inspiration and a hope to you all. Please remember to pray, read your bible, go to church, and love God above all else. Like, comment, share, subscribe, and I will see you all next time.
If you want to go to heaven, then believe in Jesus and you will go to heaven. (John 3:16)
