Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to give some insights as to how to start your Christian music career in 2024.

Before we get started, let’s have our moment of silence.

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to follow him throughout all of our lives. Ask God to guide us and give us strength to be holy. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.

Now back to the show

How to start your Christian music career in 2024?

So like with all things, starting your Christian music career is best done last year. HAHA.

That’s a joke.

But since we don’t have last year, the only thing we have to work with is today.

It takes a long time to actually develop a music career worth having.

It’s not a matter of overnight success like how the media likes to play it out to be.

I’m telling you right now, that for every musician out there whoever said they had an “overnight success” there are thousands of other excellent musicians who did it the long and hard way.

Even Justin Bieber, who we all claim was an overnight success, didn’t do it so overnight.

I remember watching his movie, the never say never movie, and in it, they said that he started drumming when he was 3 years old.

And he didn’t get his record deal until he was 12. That’s nearly 10 years of hard work that he had to put in in order to become the success that he was today.

So, if you think that you’re going to beat the world’s greatest musicians at their own game, try a slice of humble pie and set yourself back some because it’s nowhere near as easy as how people make it out to be.

But like with everything that I say, I say that you need God in your plans.

Why? Because there are plenty of wrong things that can happen in your life that would stop you from becoming an awesome performer.

And only God has our future in his hands.

After we have God, we have to work towards our goals.

Honestly, it boils down to just creating content nowadays.

And you guys have heard me say that.

And on those days where you don’t feel like creating content, are the days that matter the most.

Because it’s on those days where you, the aspiring musician, are made.

If you are the musician that I know you are, you have done the hard part, you have learned music.

You have learned music and you have the talent to succeed in music. However, now it’s the time to do the last part, which is the business side of things.

Some people might not like the business side, some people thrive at it.

But just remember that no one likes to do things that they are bad at.

If you become good at it, then you will like it.

So, literally, don’t overthink this.

Just go out, pick a platform (Blogging, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, X) and just start creating content.

Now, I will give you guys some bits of knowledge right here.

On every Social media, the administrators of those social medias have on their support pages, ways for you to develop a following.

If you follow those methods, then you will develop the following given time.

What does that mean, It means that you could do all of the right things that the social medias say to do and it would still take a long period of time to develop that following.

And when I say a long period of time, I mean like years. A few years at that.

Some people might develop it quicker, but just know that it in general will take a long time to do.

But just pray to God to give you strength to endure all that time and you will come out great. Not guaranteed, but just stay positive.
