Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share some insight as to how success really looks like as a Christian musician.

Before we get into it, let’s have our moment of silence.

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God so that no matter what happens, whether we’re successful or not, we go to God with all humility and honorable heart that we should have towards him. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.

Now back to the show

What does success look like as a Christian musician?

I think that success has many different definitions.

I mean we all know this.

But to me, I’m as honest as I can be.

And to me, success looks like, making music for the Lord with everything that I am, while also making a living doing it.

I mean sure it would be fun to make millions of dollars and if that kind of money ever shows up I wouldn’t turn it down.

But what’s more important than that, and what’s far better is serving God.

And there are verses in the bible that talk about money and how it should NOT be the priority in your life.

And I also get it, money is important.

Which is why I say that success to me look like me making music every single day and writing content on my blog and just being an overall light in the music world that shines the light of the Lord while also making a living doing it.

I don’t think it’s a sin for a Christian to have a lot of money.

I don’t think it’s a sin for a Christian to spend on expensive things either.

However, it’s the love of money that is the root of all evil.

The love of money, which could drive you to do many ungodly things, is wrong.

I remember that I saw on the news of how some megachurch pastors have private jets and preach the prosperity gospel. And they almost always focus solely their preachings on tithes.

I can agree maybe a few times in a year of how tithes should be preached. However, it shouldn’t be the main focus of the church.

The main focus of the church should be to glorify God and glorify christ with the members of the church.

So through holiness and righteousness and studying the word of God, that’s what the church should do.

It’s okay to have nice things, but let those nice things be a by-product of your righteousness.

I will be honest here, I am saying this in the perspective of someone who doesn’t have that much money, AS OF NOW, means that right now a lot of big things are happening in my blog and I’m hoping to God that it will start to produce.

And let me give you some wisdom for the rich.

The bible asks the rich to give to the poor.

So since we have that in our bible. We have to pray to God to give us strength to give to the poor.

And we will give to the poor out of righteousness.

So, be faithful with what God has given you, and who knows, you might find success one day.
