What did our Lord Jesus do for us at Calvary?

Hey everyone! So today, I ‘m going to share with you all the gospel.

I personally do this every once in a while because I know that the gospel is something that we need to share with everyone in the entire world. 

Before we get into it, let’s have our moment of silence. 

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to follow him throughout all of our lives. Ask God to give us strength to forget the things of our past and move on to the future. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this. 

Now back to the show

What did our Lord Jesus do in our lives at calvary?

So let’s look at a few bible verses to start off with. 

Genesis 3:14-15 God promised in these verses that the enmity between the woman’s seed and the serpent will be there and that the child will bruise the head of the serpent and the serpent will bruise his heel. 

This is saying that the redeemer would save the world from their sins except it would come at a price. 

And it would be grave. 

But why do we need saving? 

Let’s look at a verse from John.

Now, these verses that I’m going to give to you is something that Jesus wrote himself. 

John 3:18 – 20 “He that believeth on him is not condemned, but he who believeth not is condemned already.  For he has not believed in the name of the only begotten son of God. and this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.”

So basically we needed a redeemer because of our own sin nature. 

And that sin nature started way back when Adam and Eve sinned against God in the Garden of Eden in Genesis. 

And what happens is because we are so sinful, we have the wrath of God upon us if we do not have a redeemer. 

The sacrifice of the Lord Jesus is what suffices the wrath of God for us. 

So instead of us going to hell, we will go to heaven, if we just believe in him. 

Hear this wisdom.

The Lord wants everyone in heaven. 

The Lord wants us all in heaven. He does not want anyone to go to hell. 

But if we grieve the holy spirit, if we do not do the things that God wants us to do, we have no other choice.

So pray about your situation, for God is real, and God is a spirit that works in our lives.
