Hey everyone! So today, I wanted to share with you guys what it means to live as a Christian musician. The true definition of living the Christian music life.

Before we get started, let’s have our moment of silence.

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to have a good spirit towards the things that he gives us. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.

Now back to the show

What does it mean to live as a Christian musician?

So what happened was that I was remembering, one of these days, about the times that I was getting bullied in school.

And I remembered one particular kid and he kept saying that most musicians end up homeless.

And honestly, he was hurting me and I knew it.

And he kept saying that I was going to end up homeless.

And I remember just telling myself, this kid just wishes that he could be me.

And so at the time my only response to him was that I don’t care.

But to be honest with you, I really didn’t care.

I had already done my research as to the income of musicians, I was already aware as to all of the things that musicians do in order to be the people that they are.

And what happened was that I said to myself, “I don’t care how much musicians make, because the money isn’t my priority. My priority would be to serve God with music.”

It wasn’t until later that I read the bible and found out that the wisdom of the Lord says that in all labor there is profit. -Proverbs 14:23

And honestly, I had already said to myself that I was going to use music to worship the Lord.

And I kept saying to myself that if God blesses my hands in music, then I would use it for his glorification.

And sure enough he did.

And I remember those days when I was getting bullied, it’s strange the desires that the Lord placed in my heart in those days.

Because in those days, I dreamt and I would HOPE for the days where I would be a struggling musician.

It was strange.

I know that those were serious problems that musicians face.

But honestly, it all brought me closer to music.

Just the thought of working on your music while working on other projects just sounds so appealing.

And the Lord placed it in my heart that I would do it some day.

And sure enough, I am doing it now.

And I still do it.

Even though it’s a struggle, the Lord makes it bearable. The Lord puts a peace in my heart and mind that no one can take away.

And the Lord puts hope in me of the future.

The Lord gives me hope that I will make it out of this journey with success.

And so far, the Lord has not disappointed.

It’s actually a reason why I still do the blog.

The Lord renews my strength day after day, because honestly, i was going to give up 2 years ago on this blog.

But the Lord kept me in and he strengthened my hands to work and seek after the glorification of his kingdom through this blog.

I remember I one time saw a coach giving an inspirational speech.

And he said, “you as football players need to fall in LOVE with the process of getting into the NFL.”

You guys need to fall in LOVE with the process.

And honestly, it’s the same mentality with everything in life.

But more importantly, you need to pray to God to give you strength to keep going.

Sometimes you don’t feel like moving on, but it’s necessary that you do.

So keep moving on and you will make it through.
