Our Salvation in Jesus Christ

Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share something because we were close to Easter.

Before we get started, let’s have our moment of silence. 

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to guide us more towards him each day. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.

Our Salvation in Jesus Christ

So as of today, we passed Easter just yesterday. 

I am currently using a scheduler to post my blog posts ahead of time.

and I feel like I should make an article explaining the death, resurrection, and Salvation in Jesus Christ. 

So what happened?

Let’s talk about it

The fall of man

All the way in Genesis God had made everything perfect. 

God made man and his wife perfect and everything was perfect in the world and in the Universe. 

And then what happened is that both the man and his wife went against the teaching of God and it introduced sin into the world. 

And it shows that no matter how perfect we are, we are going to sin against God.

and when Sin was introduced into the world, that’s when death was introduced as well. 

So now we all have a day where we are just going to die because of our sins. 

that’s the bad news, now here is the good news.

The good news.

The good news is that we have God who is loving and wants us to be with him even though we sin against him. 

And what happened is that God saw that man would be forever separated from him and so in that instant, God made a plan to redeem mankind from their wicked ways and their ultimate death. 

And so he made a promise to mankind in those days that there would be a redeemer who would come and save them from their demise. 

And all throughout the Old Testament, God actually makes that promise many times. 

He promises that he will send someone to save them from their death.

Jesus the redeemer

Now when Jesus was born and throughout all of the life that Jesus lived, he actually fulfilled all of the prophecies that was said was going to happen to the redeemer.

Some of those prophecies said that he was going to be of the house of Judah, another prophecy said that his own people would not accept him, and various other prophecies. 

And what happened is that there are many proofs that say that Jesus is God.

But what really gets me is this, 

There is a bible verse that states this in Matthew 3:17, “ and lo a voice from heaven saying, This is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased.”

that was when Jesus got baptized by John the Baptist. 

Can you see just the magnitude of what is Jesus Christ.

Jesus is the son of God and it was people who witnessed God himself say that. 

And so the reason why Jesus came to this earth is to die for us.

Because what happens is that the only way to suffice the wrath of God, is through death. 

And Jesus took our spot on the cross and died for us.

and so now, since Jesus took our spot, we no longer have to die the death that God had promised us would happen.

Now, God has promised that if we were to believe in Jesus, confess that he is king and the son of God, and follow him, then we will go to heaven. 

And that’s it, you don’t need money or cars or try and work your way to heaven. 

Now you have faith in Jesus and Jesus will be your God.

and that’s really all you need.
