Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you guys a little insight on the music industry.
Before we get started, let’s have our moment of silence.
At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to follow him throughout all of our days. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.
Now back to the show
A humbling thought about music.
I know this sounds painful, and it hurts especially because we think that we need things right away,
But there’s something very interesting about the music industry.
It requires faith in God.
The reason why I say that is because not only are there a million factors that can stop you from achieving your dreams as a musician, but also, you have to have faith in God that God will provide for you while you work on your music dreams.
Because what happens is that you cannot rely on yourself to provide for yourself while you become the musician that you want to become, you have to rely on God for that.
Because everyone in the music industry knows that you cannot make a lot of money in the music industry when you first start out.
And even though you may have a lot of talent in music, you still won’t make a lot of money when you first start out.
The word needs to get out that you are someone awesome.
But this is the beauty of God.
If you pray hard enough about it and with the right attitude towards God, God will bless your plans to become the musician that you want to become.
I’m not saying that you’re going to be a multimillionaire, though that’s not impossible, but I am saying that God will bless your hands in music and you can honor God through music and the work that you do in music.
And what better way to become a musician than to honor God through music?
I know it hurts because we think that we’re poor and we can’t make it for the wait for God to bless our hands in music but let me give you another thought.
There is a verse in the bible that states this 1 Corinthians 10 13, “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”
This is saying that everyone will pass through the same tests in life.
Whether you’re rich or poor, everyone will pass through similar tests in life.
And of course since everyone is extremely different from the next person, God has to make those tests different so that we would be given an equal chance to pass or fail that test.
That means that even those rich people out there have faced extremely tough hardships in life.
There is a fact, and the fact is that most millionaires in the United States actually started with no money and built their riches over time and hard work.
Only 10% of wealthy families in the United States have what’s called “Old Money” which means that their families come from money.
I’m not trying to sound superficial, I was trying to use the words that I have seen in articles.
Therefore that’s basically saying that if someone else who was at a disadvantage became wealthy, why can’t you?
They were patient, they worked hard, they cried and they had moments of pain, and yet they did it, why can’t you?
So stop complaining about having to wait for the good things to happen to you and just start doing it so that you can actually get what you want when the time is right.
The only thing you need to worry about is God.
Pray to God to bless your hands in work and he will bless your hands.
