A little about me

Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all a little something about myself and why God is so important in my life.

Before we get into it, let’s have our moment of silence. 

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to give us strength to do the right thing. Ask God to help us to move us to always act in a righteous manner. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.

A little about me

So what happens is that I went tot my government website, in reality I was just trying to find out more about our government and what they do. 

And so what I found was that one of the biggest problems in my local government is homelessness. 

And I understood that because I have talked to a few police officers in the past and they say that there are  actually a lot of homeless camps in my area. 

And I actually have only seen a few of these homeless camps in my life. 

But what happened was that the Lord placed it in my heart to have compassion on these people. 

There’s a reason why I say the Lord did that.

It’s because I know for a fact that by myself I am not good, which is why I say that the Lord placed it in my heart to have compassion on these people. 

And I’ll be honest, this compassion was fueled with a fire at the same time. 

And so I started to think about all of the verses in the Bible that talk about giving to the poor, and sure enough the Lord helped me to understand that it is his will that I help the poor in whatever way possible. 

And so I started to think as to how can I get into politics to help the poor. 

And I’m pretty sure that it’s a noble cause that I’m doing to help the homeless through advocating through politics.

But I thought, who would want to support me?

And after all I’m just a kid. 

I kept thinking about all of the people in my local government and all of the things that they have done in their lives and I was just thinking to myself, “They have degrees and experience that I just don’t have.”

Why would anyone want to consider me to lead a group of people?

And then the Lord spoke to me and he said, “German, I am the one who appoints kings and princes and if I so wanted to appoint you as a leader of government, I will appoint you.”

and I was moved by this thought because it’s true, the Lord appoints Kings and Princes and Queens and Princesses, and I know that God appointed a 20 year old to rule over his nation at one point. 

And this 20 year old kid had no degrees, he was intelligent, but had no degrees. 

And so I am here and I’m just thinking about all of the work that I would have to do in order to get into the government.

and it’s a tough challenge, but helping the homeless would be worth it.

It would be the will of God if I were to get into government to help the homeless. 

And it doesn’t matter all of my past, it just matters what’s in the future.

So let it be known that the Lord has people working for him in government.
