Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all a technique that you should do to generate new blog post ideas.
Let’s talk about it.
Read a whole bunch of blog posts
So, I think that the reason why I have been able to stay in this blogging game for so long is because I continuously read blog posts.
And it’s not just about music that I read about.
I will actually read a whole bunch of blog posts from different types of blogs: Personal blogs, music blogs, Christian blogs, health and wellness blogs, pool blogs, all types of blogs.
And whatever I have an interest in, I will read about it in a blog first before I go and do anything about it.
And all of those blog posts that I read actually come in handy when creating new ideas as to what to write about in my own niche blog subject.
And I know that I’m not writing about how to mow a lawn or how to create a business (well at least for the most part)
But I am reading and writing about things in music that pertain to different aspects and I find ways to explain it because I have read already how other people explain their things.
So reading other people’s blog posts is an excellent way and technique that you could incorporate into your own daily blog practice so that you know how to write better.
Also, reading other’s blog posts makes your technical skills better too. You tend to notice different patterns when reading other people’s blog posts.
You see how people do different things.
So like it’s a good way to learn by visuals.
Read books

So reading books helps to become savvy with writing.
Because what happens is that even though blogging is not technical writing where you have to make an intro paragraph, three body paragraphs and a conclusion; it still helps to write better paragraphs and have a great word choice.
I mean we might think that we have a great word usage, but we must be real with ourselves.
We must be honest and say, “do we say like a lot? Is our vocabulary extensive with the way that it rolls off our tongues?”
Reading books gives us word choice and usage so that we can write better.
