Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all a little something about why feeling a little lost is sometimes in the will of God.
Let’s talk about it
When God is guiding you
So what happens is that I was on Facebook the other day, and in my Facebook shorts feed, there are Christian posts but there are also non Christian posts.
And what happened is that right after I was done watching a Christian post, I saw a post that really wasn’t at all Christian.
And I thought to myself, “Why am I even watching this?”
And I shut it off.
And I felt a little sad because it wasn’t Godly, it wasn’t Christ like, and it made me think of all the consequences of all the sins that were being associated with it.
And honestly, I started thinking about the people who were associated with it.
And I couldn’t help but to think about do they not even see the consequences of their actions?
And it’s like I understand that I can’t stop the world from acting the way that it always acts, but why does it have to be this way?
I saw then that God had placed something special in me.
He placed in me a desire and the willingness to chase after him no matter what.
It’s because I have seen the world act the way it acts, and I see every day that truly there is no one good but God.
I felt a little lost when I saw this ungodly post, but then I felt as if though God was right there shining a light unto my path.
Now what am I going to do about it?
I am going to chase after the godly way.
I am going to chase after the holy way.
I am going to seek God above my own desires and my afflictions.
For God is perfect above all else.
For God is here and here to stay.
He has been with me since day one.
The gospel
Let’s read a little bit of the bible verses that explain the entirety of mankind.
John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son so that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life.”
John 3:17, “For God did not send his son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved.”
John 3:18, “He who believes in him is not condemned but he who believes him not is condemned already. For they have not believed in the name of the only begotten son of God.”
John 3:19, “and this is the condemnation, that men loved darkness rather than light for their deeds were evil.”
So what happens is that Jesus was speaking these words to explain to mankind that we were indeed condemned from birth because of our sin.
And he wanted there to be clarification on the reason as to why we needed saving.
He knew that there would be people in the future who would question the reason for the death and resurrection of Jesus.
And he explained everything in a few sentences.
But understand that all of that means that we were dead in our sins, we were condemned in our sins and we needed saving, we needed justification.
And Jesus came down and justified us. He came down and saved us from our sins.
And not only us, but the entire human race can go to heaven and believe in Jesus and live in peace with him forever.
For God is perfect and Jesus is whole.
Jesus is peace, he is the prince of peace.
Amen.
