Hey everyone! Today, we reached a milestone that I thought I would not reach anytime soon.

But here it goes.

Before we get into it. I just want to take a moment of silence.

Moment of silence

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence to pray to God about our daily lives. We all go through so much on a day to day basis and no one’s problems are greater than ourselves and our problems are not greater than anyone’s. Let’s pray to God so that he may be glorified and worshipped through all of our work.

Now back to the show

Radio Promoter

As you guys know, I have been producing music for quite some time now.

And now I actually have some power with these industry people because I’ve done some big things on my own without the record labels first.

There’s a lot of things that I’ve done lately that honestly I was thinking to myself is quite impressive.

One thing that I did was that I got around 8,000 views to my Christian Facebook Videos in one month and I managed to do that consistently for several months.

Another thing that I’m doing is getting between 400 and 700 views per month to this blog that I’m writing in right now.

But I’ll be honest here, I think the reason why this radio promoter got in contact with me is because I managed to get 900 streams within 2 months to one of my songs.

That’s actually not that bad for an indie Christian artist.

It means it went a little viral on Tik-Tok.

And though that doesn’t translate to money right now, it does say that people like my music and I’m not someone to be ignored.

So I sent this information to the radio promoter and he replied and he said a lot of things.

Actually it’s a really big email that he sent me.

But basically it says that he can help me to get into the radio, the only thing is that he does it at a service so he charges for the work that he does.

And before you guys go around saying, “Oh it’s a scam, oh he’s just trying to rip you off of your money. And this and that.”

There are quite a few different things that tell me he is not a scam.

One, the email that I sent to, was recommended by quite a few different radio stations along with his name.

I checked around 6 radio stations and they all recommended to use him and that email address.

2 I already emailed this exact radio promoter a few months back but he never replied. If he was truly a scammer, he would’ve replied then and asked me to send him money then. I emailed him when I didn’t have an impressive musical resume, but now I managed to beef it up

3. I checked around a few different websites and articles related to him and supposedly they call him, “The hit whisperer.” For his ability to put Christian hits on the radio.

That’s right the radio promoter who got in contact with me is Chris Hauser.

If you look him up on the internet, it’s actually really cool all of the work that he’s done on the radio promotion side of Christian music.

What did I say to this radio promoter to notice me?

So to teach you guys a little something about how to get the industry to notice you, Here are the exact words that i said in order to get this radio promoter to notice me.

Like this is copied and pasted from my email to this blog post.

IT states,

“Hello Hauser promotions, this is German again and I’m a Christian musician. I currently get around 8,000 views per month to my Facebook Videos which showcase my musicianship. I have a Christian music blog that generates between 400 and 700 views per month, I have around 460 followers on X and recently I received around 900 streams on my song on Tik-Tok alone in 2 months. I was wondering if I could send you the song in question so that we could potentially do some radio airplay. My phone number is XXX-XXX-XXXX. Thank you and you have a nice day.”

Of course the xxx part of the phone number was taken out.

Quick and easy and to the point.

So there are some things that need to be said about this message that I just sent because it’s important that you guys learn how to send these messages so you too can do big music things.

  1. Music industry professionals receive A LOT of emails, demos, songs, lawyers, calls, text messages, etc. etc. and each one of them says something similar, it states, “THIS IS YOUR NEXT HIT.” Or maybe the old, “YOU HAVE NEVER SEEN SOMETHING LIKE THIS BEFORE.” So the thing is that if you want an industry professional to notice you, write the message short, sweet and to the point.
  2. Remember to keep key details in there.
  3. Imagine that you are on an elevator with one of these professionals. What are some things that you would say to them to show that you are professional, got what they want, and can do what’s expected and potentially more?
  4. Pro tip right here, Music professionals can see if you’re going to be a success through a wide variety of ways. However, there are three main things that professionals look at to know if you’re actually going to sell. Social media following, Albums/streams sold, and good music. Good music is your most important one. This means that if you have a big social media following, sold 5,000 albums,  and have good music, you’re almost guaranteed into the music industry.
  5. Do not send demos or music right away. So almost every single time, professionals do not want you to send music right away. You actually have to email them first or get in contact with them first before sending any music. And once they say, “Go ahead send me your music.” Then you can send them music.

Above all else

But above all else, this is the most important thing that you as a Christian musician could do to get into the music industry with God.

Never forget that all of our efforts, all of our work, all of our beings are designed to honor God, Jesus.

Therefore, before you set out to do any big moves, remember to pray to God to bless you in your work.

And know that Gods is faithful even in death.
