Hey guys! Today, I’m just going to share some of the blessings that God has given me.

Let’s get into it.

So what is the American Dream?

What is the American Dream? Everywhere I go and to all the people I talk to, it seems a little different.

Some people say it’s starting with nothing and ending up at the top of the game.

Other people say it’s working your regular job and living your life to the fullest with your personal life.

Some people think it’s when you become a great musician and get signed to a record label.

Some people say it’s starting your own business.

Whatever you think it is.

I can honestly say that the American Dream is alive and thriving.

But the thing about it is that there is a key detail that people don’t tell you about the American Dream.

And it’s that you need God in your life for it to happen.

I remember back many years ago, I was going in and out of hospitals and jails, I wasn’t doing good in school, and I kept telling myself, “The Lord is real, but he needs to be second in my life.”

And the Lord had ways of changing my mind, of humbling me.

And I can honestly say that whatever your American Dream is, whether it’s being a musician, whether it’s living a life in the suburbs or the big city, or whether you want to own your own business, it’s possible.

But the caveat is that you need God to do it.

Because the Lord provides wisdom to do the impossible.

He gives strength when there is no strength.

And trust me in this pursuit of the American Dream, there will be days where you will not have strength and you still need to go on, there will be days where life will seem at it’s end, and the Lord is the one who keeps you going.

Now what am I living?

I just realized how impressive the Lord has made me.

I mean I stand at 6 feet tall, I lift weights and I’m not bad at it, I play the guitar and sing and can write songs, I’m smart, I’m really good at sales, and the Lord keeps on blessing me with more and more each day.

Every day and everywhere I look, the Lord has blessed me.

I remember when I was a kid, I prayed to God to make me all of these things.

And I remember that I kept thinking to myself, “The last thing that I’m going to be in life is a writer.”

When I was a kid, I hated writing, I hated English.

And I kept saying to myself, “I’m never going to be a writer.”

And the Lord has different plans. Here I am years later, and believe it or not, writing is the number one way that I do most of my daily activities.

I write a lot in my job, I write in this blog, I write poems and lyrics, and for some reason the Lord made me a writer.

God doesn’t call the qualified, he qualifies the called.

Here I am writing articles glorifying the Lord.

He chose the least person to write articles for him and made him into a writer.

That’s what the Lord does.

All hail the Lord Jesus. For he is perfect in all that he does
