How do you really become a successful blogger

Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all how to become a successful blogger and the reality of becoming a successful blogger.

Let’s get into it. 

What have you read on the internet?

I know what you have read on the internet, you have read, “I made a full time blogging income in 3 months.” 

Or

”Learn how to earn money online in 2 weeks.” 

Or maybe the old

”Get rich quick through the internet.”

Well I’m here to tell you that most of that stuff is baloney. 

So I personally wrote in a blog almost everyday for 6 months straight. 

And you know what happened? I will admit I did see some success in the 6th month, but it was nowhere near enough to get an income, get a following, it was nowhere near enough to do anything.

There are some bloggers and internet gurus that say that it is possible to see success in 6 months, and that much is true, but it’s nowhere near enough to see any real momentum. 

All of those people that say, “Oh, I became successful overnight.” 

I’m telling your right now that, it’s mostly baloney. 

So let me share with you all what happened in the 6th month and the months preceding that.

The months preceding the 6th month, I was getting 1 view, every other day.

On my best month that month, I received 30 views in a single month.

Now on the 6th month, I received a grand total of 116 views. 

116 views for all of my effort. 

I was expecting thousands from all of the internet gurus that I’ve ever seen. 

However, I didn’t quit. 

And there was a reason why I didn’t quit. 

And it was because I never believed those internet gurus. 

I never believed that you could get rich in 6 months because if that were true, everyone and their grandmas would be blogging. 

And it just simply isn’t the case. 

However, I did see real people get rich off of the internet, so I said to myself, “These people are lying and they’re lying because they want immediate attention.”

so i persisted and i kept writing in my blog.

About a year into blogging, I read a helpful article from a reputable website and read some interviews with some big people who actually earned money from the internet and they said, “In the internet, it usually takes 4 to 6 years to make a meaningful impact in your following and in your income. 

So I said to myself, “So I just have to persist and continue going. 

That year, I was making several hundreds of views per month to my blog. 

The following year I was making between 300 and 400 views per month and the year after that, I was doing a little more. Like 500 to 600 views per month. 

And so here we are 6 years later and just this year, I broke my own records and i received 1,306 views in a single month to my blog and I broke that record and earned 2,100 + views in October. We are in October right now.

So now you know the truth. 

Blogging actually takes time. 

It’s not a get rich quick scheme. It’s not easy. It’s actually difficult. 

And you might be asking me, “German, how much have you earned with your blog. 

There’s 2 answers to that. 

1 in reality, nothing

2 in theory like a little less than 4 dollars. 

The reason why is because I linked my music to my blog and people are streaming my music from my blog and Facebook profiles and I’ve reached 1,506 streams as of this month and i started doing that about 2 years ago. 

So in technicality I’ve earned money, but the earnings are so low, that I can’t even cash it out because the limit is 50 dollars to cash out your money from my distributor. 

But there’s a catch

I know I haven’t earned anything right now, but there’s something more valuable than earning money that I’m acquiring right now. 

And it’s influence. 

The Lord has given me power to do these things and gain the things that I have. 

And he has quite literally blessed me with power. 

And power can give you money. 

So right now, I’m not earning anything, but it’s much like a college degree, you work hard for 4 years without pay in a school in order to graduate and earn more money in the future. 

It’s the same concept.
